And that mis amigos is the look of a niño that woke up at 630am!! Yes, he was up from 445am until 530am...but he fell asleep again...gracias madre!!

A good day, a full day which included Poppa being in charge of siesta y leche time and also one time out for the lil'man.

When tired or excited, stand one meter back...if you are Momma. For what ever reason, it does not happen to me, but he can become a kicker, pincher, slapper or hitter during those certain times.

And as it is NO fun for Bex, or Bubba having to see and hear it, sometimes I need to take over, and today during siesta y leche time, it was one of those times.

And the pre-cena 2 minute timeout was for the same reason. We know he "gets" it, as sometimes he comes in for a swat, but hits the brakes and just strokes Bex's face. But he does not currently have the self control, and it is no fun for any of us.

Not complaining, just sharing.

As for the rest of the day...fun fun fun.

Out the door for a 720am prowl...a quick "adios smoke" to our neighbor and then onto the prowl.

Oh yes...Feliz Día de la Independencia...not to be confused with Cinqo de Mayo, when Mexico beat the French (they lost that war too?).

We were headed to the panificadora, when we heard and then saw the parada. So we booked up a side street and we were lucky enough to see the Mayor of Huatulco walking in the parada!! Click HERE to see a short clip of the parade. The Mayor is wearing the orange playera.

He sure has come along way in the last 13 meses!! SEE for yourself.

Some parada fotos.

Max y amigo catching an eyeful.

Ah yes, little people with rifles and bullet belts.

Having seen all the fun he was missing, Max got off his butt and decided to join in.

Max marches to his own beat!!

Max had a blast, loved the marching and all the attention he received. I was happy to hear all the peeps on the side line having a laugh and calling out "hola Max".

Home for pan frances miercoles and then off to the alberca for some surfing, swimming and jumping in from the pool deck.

Leche y siesta...for the past week or so, Max has been waking up during his siesta, one unhappy camper. Some rocking and talking and he goes back to sleep...but something is up as he used to be able to sleep 2 hours straight through. Who knows?

Post siesta I was off to el gimnasio and then home to edit and upload some videos, and then get the casa ready for la cena and the PM rutina.

Bex y Max had a prowl around town, and then were off to one of the Play Palaces. They had fun (of course they did!!) and then came home in time for a timeout, leche, clean up and then onto la cena.

God eats, tranquilo time in the Palace, some crazy dancing during the FT con Oma y Opa (hello...it was Madonna), and then into tina time.

And at 730pm, round 1 of bedtime is almost over. Back at you soon...hasta pronto.

Not the easiest bedtime...yikes. Five minutes of asking for Cheeky, who was out for burgers, 5 minutes of saying "tot ziens", Dutch for good bye, 10 minutes of "ear" and then once plopped into the cuna, it was 5 more minutes of "manos".

But at 820pm, Max is lights out, Poppa is about to finish this update and watch the News, and after cooking some more (yes, more) chocolate chip cookies, Bex is upstairs very hard at work!!

Onto the rest of the fotos.

Hello...peek a boo.

What up over there?

Max asking for "arriba", up.

Those were some scary "people".

Only 7 minutes outside the CP gates, and it is time to lavo los manos!!

Hmmm....Cheerio.

They will not see me behind this poste.

Due to the parada, there was lots of traffic congestion. Calle Carrizal is a one way calle. Based on this next foto, guess which way is the correct way, and guess which taxista is the dumb a**.

Not a very clear picture if you click on it, but I think you get the idea of how much fun Max has as he is about to jump in the alberca.

Bex work update? She has a ton of work...how exciting, but it really means she has to manage her time...and work late. As is the usual, feast or famine when it comes to her work, so she takes it when she gets it!!

Lots of new clients and many of them are referrals from peeps that loved the work she did for them. Score y felicidades!!

Ok, you are all caught up. Have a great jueves!!

Hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
