One of Max's "oh Poppa" looks.

Buenos tardes and welcome to Race domingo!!

Currently 340pm and as the familia is out at the playa, and with the race on, it is time to start jotting down a few lines of the blog update.

Hugely successful night with Max asleep before 8pm and slept through the complete noche, even with madre being in charge!!

530am wake up and Bex y Max followed their early morning rutina before Bubba woke up at 630am.

I took over at 7am and shortly after, the boys went out for their prowl. Not much to report as Huatulco on a Sunday morning at 730am, is very tranquilo.

But you would be surprised at the amount of drunks you see stumbling around. Beer being cheaper then water is one issue...doph. But they are all harmless and other then wanting to say hola to Max and tying to get Max to give them high 5's, they leave us alone.

Nice weather, so a familia swim was in order. That means we were home by 845am and after Max gobbled down a huge desayunos, we had some tranquilo time and then it was off to the pool.

Always a fun time there...but why is it once I tell Max we have 5 more minutes, that he insists to go to the deep end and "swim"? Which he also calls "nadar", "to swim" en español.

Lots of swimming, including wowing the visitors to CP with his minute plus treading of water.

Upstairs for leche y siesta, and Poppa got in on the siesta!! Score!!

Post nap it was comida time, some race time and you are caught up.

Onto the fotos and I will finish the update esta noche, tonight.

After limbering up, we are ready for the prowl.

Poppa "testing" the camera.

Max spotting el perro on the roof across from the CP.

Having short issues?

Ahhhh....sexy legs!!

A little jig.

Pit top to towel off...and grab the Cheerios.

Max is selective...not timido with all peeps, just some.

The yellow series.

The pole series...with many expressions!!

I am sure he is looking at the senora that has just walked by, and wondering why she had the pail on her head.

We saw some "people", just as we were about to go into the panificadora for our pan.

From this doorway, there are always papayas for sale.

Ok, back to the race with 140 laps to go, and onto some pre-cena clean up and prep.

Hasta pronto.

Buenos noches and congratulations to 6 time Nascar Champion, Jimmy Johnson!! I enjoyed the race and am already looking forward to febrero, when the next season starts. Until then...Max and I will have to settle for some NFL and watch the Seahawks work their way towards a Superbowl!!

A tranquilo afternoon and the familia returned home with some 20 laps left in the race. Bex tells me that they had an awesome time at the playa, with Max swimming next to Bex, the length of the playa.

The highlight? Having peeps amazed when they see Max swimming by himself, and then being blown away when they find out he is 2 years old. The locals learn to swim at an early age, but the tourista Mexicanos from DF do not. Many of them are wearing lifejackets (good for them!!) and are in awe of the lil'man. Hello!!

With one ojo on cooking la cena and one on the race, it was a busy time!!

The pollo turned out great and after a big dinner, it was tranquilo time in the Palace, followed by tina time, the FT con Oma y Opa and then off to bed. At 730pm, round 1 is almost up...gotta type faster!!

So, while watching the race, I saw a commercial for THESE peeps. Funny concept and a funny video included.

No plans for next week, but stay tuned as you never know what exciting prowls we may get ourselves involved in!!

Have a great week y hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
