So Max, tells us how you really feel about waking up at 445am.

Buenos noches...they did NOT tell us about days like this in any parenting books we read!! Wowzers.

It was a trying día and the roller coaster of emotions, named Max Van, was at the root of it. Wacky that we can have such awesome moments with him, like him dancing naked during the FT con Oma y Opa, but then have the moments where we need to count to 20.

Tears and crying that we would not watch "tractor" videos at 445am...what a fun way to start the day.

We held off until 515am and then between 2 bottles of leches and many videos, Poppa caught a few more minutos of shut eye.

630am tranquilo time and then out the door at 720am. Long prowl, up to Sorianas to check on it's progress (2 more weeks?), hola to the roosters, and then into centro.

Friendliest part of the prowl? We did not get to the escuela before 8am, but we ran into the fruta salesman while we were prowling. Max wanted his piña, so we asked for the chico vaso. I had only $100 peso notes and he had no cambio, change, so we will hit him up mañana. Now that is friendly!!

We did see a ton of Max's amigos and they all want to say hola, choque, and hear him talk about Cornona y chelas. He does not disappoint!!

All was goo until we rounded the corner near Oxxo. The tienda next door has 3 rides, with 2 of them locked inside the tienda when it is cerrado. Well, at 830am it is closed and Max is obsessed with getting in and riding the newest ride.

I swear, he was going to break the glass window while banging on it, continually saying "amigo" and starting to cry. Duh...445am wake ups might do that to you!!

I had to pick him up and head home, and there was some kicking and crying. He finally calmed down and we made it home in one piece.

Gong show for desayunos as he did not want any of his fruta...he said "done" moments after I put it on his tray. Doph.

So, breakfast turned out to be huevos, raisins, yogurt, 2 crackers and some pollo.

Thrilled to have my co-pilot take over around 10am and after some UFC while trying to get him to sleep, he passed out cold.

Good siesta, but being asleep at 1045am, he was up at 1245pm. Bex took him to the alberca and I followed. Thrilled to watch him swim and then climb up on a boogie board and surf the pool!!

And then he upped his game by jumping from the pool deck, into the deep end and into Momma's arms, unassisted!! He looks and feels so confident in the pool...score!!

I headed to the gym and after their comida, the familia had a fun prowl around centro. They had a pit stop at the tienda de importaciones, and saw all the Christmas trees for sale. Tonight, all Max could say as he was falling asleep was "ears" and "arbol de navidad". I am sure he will be super excited decorating the tree with Bex, on 30 de noviembre.

We met back home for leche, clean up and then la cena...and Max was a pre-cena handful. As dinner was about to be served, we were lucky that Tornado Max was downgraded from a level 5 to a level 1 and dinner was a tranquilo success. Phew.

Pre-tina time tranquilo time in the Palace, so we turned on the FT and Max put on a show and tell for his abuelos. First the juguetes, toys, and then the naked dance. Oh Max!!

Off to tina time, bedtime and now it is parental catch your breath time. Phew.

Onto the fotos.

Whoa...check out that leche buddha!!

We haven't even left the parking lot, and Max has seen "people".

But these "people" turn out to be Max' s amigo Silverio, one of the guards at the gate. And it did not take long for Max to warm up to him, and look at the almendro, almond tree.

But as quick as that, he wanted down and his Poppa.

The rare pose...standing still!!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh......

730am and this hombre is already out selling woven mats.

SCA has a small satellite tienda, and the senora that works there always come out to say hola to Max. Sometimes, it catches him off guard...and he says, you guessed it... "people".

Has Max found one of Poppa's joys, is his too?

The boys...before we rounded the corner at Oxxo. Note the smile on the lil'man!!

Peek a boo from the roof. At first Max said this was a "woof" and without my glasses being on, I agreed. Until I went to take a foto for Max, and we both agreed it was a "meow".

That mis amigos, was a wacky day. No more of those please.

Have a great martes...Che martes as Max says.

Hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
