Hola hola!!

HUGE rain storm with lots of big thunder and lightning. A few power surges...stay tuned.

If there is no blog update tonight...you now know why.

saludos

Well, the
rain has stopped...for now. What a wacky 2 hours of weather!!

As for our día...can you say 630am sleep in? Score!! A great night for the boys and that meant Bex also managed to get a nice uninterrupted sleep!!

The boys followed the usual AM rutina for a Che day. Short prowl, desayunos and then off to Che.

A mainly overcast morning, but warm enough for the familia swim...where Max is now a star without his floatadores, wings.

When I came down to the pool, Max y Bex were in the shallow end (not the kiddie pool) and Max had no wings on and was in water that goes up to his chin...when he is on his tippy toes.

And what is he doing? Bouncing up and down so that his complete head goes under the water, comes up and spits out water, catches his breath and goes down again.

Wow!! 22 months old and he is a swim star!!

Nice swim, great siesta and then I was off to the gym and made it home before the lluvia came pouring down.

The familia had their lunch, a prowl and then into the camioneta verde and off to the Play Palace. Good thing there was no playa trip...nasty weather to be stuck on a bici at the beach!!

We met at home for the leche, dinner, tina time y FT and at 725pm, Max is now on round one of bed time.

Onto the fotos.

Max, in another of his home made Swoosh playeras, is taking a pit stop before the prowl.

And Poppa has realized that as he takes fotos, if he is muy tonto, silly, he can get Senor Serio to show us his super smile!!

On the way to get our pan, Max has noticed that the Mexican bandera that was hanging in a restaurante across the calle....is gone.

Now, this is the look of a triste niño, who really misses the flag.

Triste, but not enough to forget to wave to a perro across the calle.

A few shots from around town.

I suspect this is a madre with her 2 niñas, and based on what the senora is pulling, I bet she sells items out of her cooler,  in front of her daughter's school.

Battle of the bands...I think.

Los Sagrados...The Sacred.

And on the 14th...a rodeo with dancing!!

On the side of a very old camion.

They are offering to move freight, cheaply.

Phew...bed time is over and it was not a short one. But...very happy to report that there was no rocking needed, and Max fell asleep in his cuna. Small steps, small steps.

But why did it take so long tonight? We lay in bed and sang some Gilligan's and after I lost my singing voice, we practiced Max's new words. He knows the colors red y yellow, so I put them together with other words he knows, and we ended up with yellow bananas, yellow mustard, red shoes and socks as well as a red gorra, hat.

And after he was in his cuna, he grabbed my hand and put it under his head as he lay down. And every minute or so, he reached up and touched my face, ensuring I was still there.

After 10 minutes, and several attempts, I managed to pull the hand away...and ta da...a job well done!!

Ok, you are all caught up.

930pm and Bex is having a FT con her padres, Max is asleep and Bubba has settled into some News and now the pelicula Moneyball. Hey, just catching up on the movies from 2011!! Ja ja ja

Have a great miercoles!!

Marco, Bexico y Max
