And on the 4th día, the lluvia stopped!!

Buenos tardes!!

Is it ironic that ayer, we had so much rain that we lost the satellite signal to the TV, and today with some sol y blue skies, there is rain in Chicago and we are on a race delay?

So...time to start some notes and keep an eye on the flat screen.

And why do we have the good weather today?

Finally the two storm fronts have moved far enough norte that we have some better weather. Again, Huatulco is just to the right of the blue storm track, right by the little part of Mexico sticking out into the Pacific oceano.

Ok, how was our día?

A great start to the night and then there were some Max dreams that woke him up a few times. And at 530am he had enough and bed time was over!!

Madre took charge and the two of them went through their new pre-prowl rutina, videos, books and blocks.

Bubba was ready to take over at 7am and then the boys waited for el sol to rise and then off we went. And what a refreshing change...no need for rain coats or umbrellas!!

With all the rain and no sol, it would have been too cold for a familia swim, so we made the prowl a long one. Good to get out and after our prowl and pan, it was home for a pretty good desayunos and then some time in the Party Palace.

There was leche time and then a great siesta.

Tranquilo afternoon...race delay so I helped Max eat his comida and then the familia went out for a prowl and I got lucky as the race started.

Currently 430pm and there is another race delay and it is perfect timing as I will get the condo set up for the PM rutina and then start cooking la cena...Bubba meatballs.

The familia came home from their prowl, leche'd up and have since jumped on the bici and headed out to playa Chahue y the Club (Clue-buh as it is pronounced) for some swimming.

So, quickly onto the fotos.

Off for the prowl.

Anyone know why this foto shoot stopped only seconds after this foto was taken?

Here is Max contemplating the discussion we had about why we ended the foto shoot on the grass. Can you say "possibly having a coco land on your cabeza, head"? Doph!!

Dos was the call from the lil'man. But I could only reach one limon, so I took a foto of another one and that seemed to keep Max contento.

This is the first in the series of Max's Oscar worthy performance.

And the Oscar for "Most Dramatic Appearance for No Reason at All", goes to...Max Van!!

Was it the limon that he dropped that made him "look" so distressed? Or was it the small scrape he had on his finger and was making sure I was aware of...every 5 minutes? Who knows...I will have to ask him one day.

And how was this for a 1 minute recovery?

Oh yes, practicing "peek a Max" will solve all the issues!!

As for the scrape, it was nothing, but Max sure milked it. We even added a few band aids to the episode and the moment they were applied, Max wanted them off. Oh, what a character!!

Could have used the flash, but here is Max looking at a niño with a "what the ?" look, as the niño has mask taped his own boca.

And some misc fotos.

I have never, nunca, seen this moto work...it is always being pushed.

In the background of this next foto, you can see the Farmapronto where I bought Max's meds. They had no luz, power and it was because all these branches had fallen on the linea. CFE was on the site when I left the farmacia.

Soooo many requests to see a foto of the bus station, so here it is. Small and open air.

Off to get this PM show on the road. Will finish this update tonight.

saludos

Ok, 715pm and round one of bed time is happening. Max, y familia, is tired and we are hoping for a quick sleep and a nice and long uninterrupted one!!

The race is still on rain delay...3 hours now I think. I have a live web cam shot of them drying the track..it might become race night domingo!!

All else is well. Looks like we are back to wet weather for lunes y martes, but then back to dry weather on miercoles.

Have a great lunes y Feliz Cumpleaños to Oma!!

Marco, Bexico y Max
