Dapper Max, headed off to the Hamptons? Or at least a prowl around La Crucecita!!
Buenos noches…we all made it to the
weekend!!
We were doing so well…Max even slept 8
hours interrupted the other night. And then last night? Up at 5am and he stayed
that way. Doph.
We nursed him through the morning and
he made it until an 1115am siesta, but wow…this afternoon he was a hand full.
Maybe it was because he missed his
playa time? It was a dark afternoon so Bex y Max did a city prowl and were home
during a rain shower, 40 minutes before la cena.
That did not go over well with Max and
he became one unhappy niño…unhappy that madre had to tell him for the 1000th
time that he is not to be aggressive with her.
For some reason, he seems to think that
it is ok to out of the blue, give Bex a slap, hit or bite. And of course we
talk to him about this, and 9 out of 10 times he cries and says he is
sorry….and then does it again.
So to give Bex a break, the boys went
for a pre-cena prowl and that seemed to keep him calm until bedtime, where he
got all riled up again.
He does not like to disappoint us and
we see the look on his face when he knows he has done something wrong. But we
are at a loss to what is going on.
The online forums say it is a stage…duh…but
for how long and what can we do to help him through this…not much in the way of
answers.
Bex did read that there is no such
thing as the terrible twos and that it is actually the period of 20 months to
24 months that is the tough part. Hmmm….Max is 20 months. Ja ja ja
Other then playing child psychologist
for the día….the boys had their waaay early prowl, a huge desayunos and madre
being the trooper that she is, managed to drag her butt out of bed (after being
awake from 5am-7am) and joined us for a great familia swim.
Off for a great siesta and then I was
onto el gimnasio and Max y madre had their afternoon together. It was a full
afternoon prowl…mall, Oxxo and the such!!
Good dinner and easy tina time….but no
one home at Oma y Opas.
Off to bed and Max was almost lights
out when his padre came to tuck him in. Score!!!
Currently 930pm and Bex y Bubba just
polished off their pinguinos…chocolate pastry. Max has already had a bad dream
and here’s hoping he sleeps through the rest of the night…knock on wood!!
Let’s move onto the fotos.
I won't show you all fotos in this next series...but let's just say that Max went up and down his rampa at least a dozen times!!
And then off to examine his first worm.
This is the friendliest senora that lives in the CP complex. Here she is talking to Max en español, talking about the leaves from the arbol, tree.
Look padre...smelly leaves!!
The story on the senora? Her daughter is married to a German hombre (or was married) and she has 2 nietos who go to school in Victoria BC. And due to the German father, her grand kids call her Oma.
We actually met her years ago, long before we moved to Huatulco, as she was the administrator at Sueño Real, the condos we used to rent for our one and two week vacations. A super friendly lady who always has compliments about Max that she wants to share.
Doph...Max has found the darned car. This could be a long pit stop...we have already been on the prowl for 30 minutes and haven't even left the complex yet!!
Hey, I wonder what's under the hood?
Doph.
Hey padre...hecho en chino!!
Only one thing to do.
And that is get out and get padre, the repairman, on the job.
From ayer. Muy raro, lately, that Max allows a stranger to pick him up. But this senora took her time, did not rush him, and won him over. Score!!! Another $10 pesos for the education fund!!
Mañana? One more friggin injection and
el gimnasio. It is a no race weekend…what will I do? Ja ja ja
Buen fin de semana!!!
Marco, Bexico y Max
