Our lil'Tigre is finding it a little breezy post alberca time.
Remember the gripe that Bex y Max had,
and that I had managed to avoid? Argh.
Oh well…more meds!!
We awoke to a wet morning and the boys
bundled up for their prowl. Max was a “go for walk” trooper and it made it easy
for me to hold the umbrella over the two of us as we went for our prowl.
Knowing there was no swim, we went for
the extended prowl and then home for another huge desayunos.
The lluvia stopped in time for our
pre-siesta prowl and the boys went out again. Pit stops to pick up the fotos,
then onto Papaloapan (which we call Poopie Loopie), where we grabbed some carne
para la cena and where all the butchers call Max "Sexy Max" because on cue, he pull up the legs on his shorts!!
Oh…and after ordering 3 rib eyes and
getting 2 New Yorks, I chatted up the butcher and made sure he knew that I know
the difference between the rib eye and a NY. Mas o menos we agreed…the steaks
were rib eyes…more or less. Ja ja ja
After Poopie Loopie it was a pit stop
for a bollo and then onto leche time and siesta time.
It was a long one and a late one,
waking up past 2pm. Doph.
Padre fighting the gripe, took the
afternoon off from the gym and spent some time with the famlia. Nice to see
what happens when I am normally at the gym.
Bex y Max had dry weather, but not
quite playa weather. The forecast said there might be rain later in the
afternoon, so it was time to jump in the CP alberca.
Follow that with a quick prowl, and it
was already dinner time.
Good eats and Max ate up a storm…he
loves his condiments!! Hola to ketchup and parm cheese!!
Clean up and then off to tina time…but
due to a poor internet connection, there was no FT con Oma y Opa. Off to bed
and the lil’man was full o’energia!! We bounced out as much as we could and
then I passed him off to madre…ja ja ja!!
And after 30 minutos and 3, yes 3, bottles
of leche, The Whisperer went in to close the show. The lil’man was drowsy and
it didn’t take long to get the lil’guy into his cuna. Success!!
Currently 920pm and all is well in the
casa!!
Fotos?
Due to the rainy morning, not as many fotos as usual...but there are some good ones!!
Post comida, madre has ensured Max is set up...as he loves to help out!!
Spotted prowling the CP grounds.
If it wasn't the 23rd of July, I would swear it was Halloween.
Padre...send down some rambutan!!
First a safari and then some scuba...Max does lead a busy life.
Best part of my day? During the AM
prowl, Max and I picked a few more fresh limons off a tree. Max made sure he
gave them a good sniff and then into padres pocket.
When we got to Los Portales, we sat
across from each other at an empty table and for more then 15 minutes, we
rolled the limes back and forth to each other.
Max was laughing and truly enjoying
himself…and then he discovered that if he threw the limons off the table, padre
would have to go get them. Who said I didn’t get any exercise today?
Max and the limons…the best part of mi
día!!
Mañana? We will see what the weather
and my cold are up to, and go from there. Stay tuned.
Have a great miercoles.
Marco, Bexico y Max
