Buenos noches!!
All good here, Max is asleep after
another long and fun filled day.
Not much to report and we will have to
start taking the camera on our early morning prowl, as we are starting to have
more and more family swims instead of a 2nd prowl and are low on fotos. Doph.
We are thinking about buying a small
camera so madre can take it to the playa for her daily trips con Max.
Funnest part of the morning prowl?
Well, I did enjoy sitting on the curb and eating our muffin together, but I
think the funnest part was watching Max help a niña pull her mochila on wheels.
We were in the zocalo and a senora
walked by with 3 niñas, on their way to the escuela. One of the girls had a
knapsack on wheels and was pulling it by its handle, when Max caught up with
her and grabbed the handle to assist.
The niña was super friendly and made
sure the other peeps saw this occurring and slowed down for the 5 minute walk
to the escuela.
When we arrived at the school yard, I
made sure we both thanked the niña and Max also blew her a besito…he has made
another amiga!!
After another huge desayunos, we had
some chill time to let the food settle, and then it was off to the alberca. All
3 of us are enjoying this swim time and now see this as a regular part of our
AM rutina.
The boys had another great siesta and
then Max headed off with madre and after my comida, I was off to el gimnasio.
Good work out and then off to the
centro to say hola to Daniel and then onto the condo to get us set up.
I gotta talk to the butcher…tough
steaks again. Argh. Thank goodness for A-1 sauce!!
So there we are, soaking in the tina
and since I cannot reach Oma y Opa on the FT, I set up Max to watch his
airplane video. The niño loves the pictures, but there he was dancing in his
tina as he loves the song too. Hilarious.
Hilarious until his abuelos call us up
on FT and I turn off his video. Happiness turned into sadness within 5 minutes
or so, so at first we watch the video with Oma y Opa and the smile returns.
But we cannot keep this up, so off the
video goes and out comes the sad face. Adios Oma y Opa…doph.
And then when Bex arrives to scrub the
lil’man down, pure “I love the Mac” meltdown when I took it out of the baño.
Doph.
But it did not last long as we promised
Max he could watch it again soon, and gave him his Happy Man action figure. Our
lil’man became contento and he even repeated the words Happy Man. Score.
Pretty easy bedtime but for the last
week or so The Whisperer has been needed. Max hates to fall asleep and his latest
attempts to stay awake include slapping his foot on the mattress in the cuna.
The pace of the slapping slows and all
of a sudden he is lights out. And at 935pm, he remains that way as I type out
the update and Bex is hard at work in the oficina.
Here are the only fotos for today, a
few taken post siesta, using the Photo Booth app on the Mac.
The tongues of the 3 amigos.
Bex y Max flashing some muscles.
Oh yes, Bex is muy tonta, silly!!
And one foto showing why you NEVER follow a truck pulling a cement mixer. Nice hitch...doph.
Mañana? Nothing out of the norm planned for our
miercoles, except a Che run to search for some leche fresca!!
Hasta mañana.
Marco, Bexico y Max
