Buenos noches!!

Bubba is pooped, so we will skip the details, tell you about the jail break mañana, and get right to the fotos.

Max wanted me to take some fotos of the nubes, and here they are.

Every morning, the loros (?), parrots, fly from a park behind the CP, and go to the zocalo. Here Max is observing the flocks in action.

Not sure what Don Juan was doing up, dressed like this, at 715am.

Our lil'Don Juan was all smiles as he raced down a rampa.

And after sitting on a curb and making a group of 7 trabajadores, workers, laugh when he made all of his animal noises, Max needed my towel to dry off.

Note the scrape on his right bicep...I discovered it when we got home, and due to no mention of it occurring, I have no idea when it happened.

We all know that Max loves llantas, tires. And today we found one that had been left on the sidewalk. Score!! As mentioned ayer, I am a bad editor...stay tuned for a bunch of tire fotos!!

And after cutting through the tiangus, we ran into 2 amigos. The hombre who owns the comedor economico is called Ocho Palabras...because he knows 8 words in ingles. The hombre waiting for his desayunos of tamales, works at the smaller fruta y verdura tienda.

Max is particular with who he likes to be amigos with, and this always friendly hombre, has made the grade!!

We are all good...hasta mañana!!

Oh, the silla, chair, saved me...read on to find out why.

Buenos noches from the chill room!!

So, that idea of getting Max to bed earlier and having him sleep longer? Ahhhhhh….no. Can you say 520am…”Poppa…go for walk”. Are you serio, mi lil’amigo?

But it might have had to do with the late nap and waking up at 230pm…doph. So today Max was lights out at 1115am’ish for his siesta and woke up at 130pm.

And tonight he was asleep at 805pm, so we will give it another try. Maybe he wakes up at 520am and knows we will be there…so he decided not to go back to sleep?

Stay tuned.

A usual día for us, but we did manage to get into the alberca by 10am for familia swim. That meant a shorter walk this morning, but that was ok, as today was a wacky Max day.

Normally we lah dee dah along, but today Max had to stop and touch EVERYTHING. Wow…it took 20 minutes to walk 10 meters.

But it is his walk and so we go his pace…except when he would not allow me to hold his hand when crossing the calle…a non-negotiable with us.

I scooped him up and he was not happy about that. We had a lil’pow wow and after we were done, I am sure he understood me…but was not happy.

Good desayunos, phew, and after the swim, a great siesta.

A slightly overcast afternoon, great for playa prowling!! I hit the gym and after their comida and getting another hole in the bici lllanta repaired, the familia went to playa Chahue and its pools y playa.

The bici has been a pain in the butt…cheapo tubos and then last week we had the cheapo llanta replaced and this week there was a nail hole…doph.

The familia had a great afternoon and met lots of peeps, who are here on vacation. Max met some older niñas who asked Bex tons of questions about Max and Canada.

We all met back at home for a great cena, and we even managed some FT con Oma y Opa before we lost the audio again…doph. Max LOVED hearing his Oma sing Row, Row, Row your Boat!!

Fairly easy bed time rutina and you are all caught up.

Fotos.

A puddle and foot prints? Oh oh.

Must have agua...

Looking for el gato, who lives down the calle.

Like poppa...the hair grows out...not down!!

I said to Max it was time to go and he ran into this empty lot and tried to secure himself behind the tap.

Oh, 10 minutes later he was ready to go.

Now, to explain how the chair saved me. Today, Max was more spirited then usual, and not only did he want to touch everything, he did not want to hold hands while crossing calles and even though he did want to walk, he wanted to linger waaaaaay longer then normal.

And not being able to take an ojo off him, today's prowl was a lot more work then usual. Not hating, just stating.

So, once we made it to the kiosko, I was thrilled to spend 20 minutes watching Max push the chair back and forth and not have to worry about him...until he started pushing the chair at full speed...towards the stairs that lead out. Oh Max!!

Misc…funnest part of my día? During familia alberca time, we saw Marcos, a hombre who works on the grounds and is now in charge of cleaning the pool.

We were chatting up about Max and I told Marcos that Max was muy inteligente, smart, when all we hear is Max repeat “inteligente”. Hilarious!!

Ok, off to watch the News.

PS…oh yeah. We have agreed with our landlords on a new rent amount, and it looks like we are signed up until October 2014!!

Have a great night y hasta mañana!!

Another día....more gato fotos!!

Hola hola!!

Not much new to report…but read on as there are fotos!!

Waaaaay early start…it was dark out when the boys started their prowl…yikes.

So tonight we have tried to get Max to sleep earlier as history shows that if he falls asleep earlier, he sleeps longer. Wacky theory but it seems to be true. Stay tuned!!

Normal AM rutina, except that desayunos was a wacky one. It took a good hour, and Max finished almost everything, but today was the kind of day where he did not like his favorite foods…like salchichas.

You know it is a wacky breakfast when Max does not love his salchichas!!

Early prowl meant we started breakfast early and it allowed us to get out of the house and hot up Che before a familia swim.

Funniest part of the Che run? A group of grocery baggers, gathered around Max and continually asking him “como se dici caballo?”, how do you say horse? All because EVERYONE laughs when they hear him naaaay.

No scores…UHT leche still…ugh…and then it was home for familia swim time.

No, when you wake up at 545am and go for a prowl around town, another at Che and then go swimming…you are pooped. The lil’man had a few bottles of leche and then slept for almost 3 hours.

A wacky way to start your afternoon, when it starts at 230pm!! But I headed off to el gimnasio and then familia went for the usual post-siesta prowl, followed by a waaaay late comida.

Too late for playa time, so after lunch they prowled around La Crucecita and broke in the new trampolina that the mall has installed. Score!!

We met back at the condo right before la cena…meatball lunes. Good eats and easy clean up and then off to tina time. We struck out on the FT…poor connection, and after a scrub down, it was off for some book reading, bouncing, leche and the bed time.

And you are all caught up.

845pm and Max is asleep, Bex is working on some drawings for a Washington DC based client, and I am about to wrap this up and go watch the News.

But first…fotos.

For the last 5 days when we head out for our walk, Max points to la luna and then "tells" me to take a foto of it, so he can see it on the screen.

And the prowl has begun.

Not quite OC, but after touching a dirty llanta, Max is concerned about clean hands.

Fresh piña has been dropped off at Fruver.

Pit stop at Simi Farmacia where Max loves the Dr Simi character.

Early prowl, but already hot and Max was ready for an agua break. Here he is tanquing up and watching the sunrise.

After our muffin, it was off to find el gato...and wake him up!! It looks like the gato is hissing, but it is actually meowing "hola Max".

What does a cat say en español? Miau of course.

Getting close and personal.

This is Max giving the gato an abrazo, hug. Yes, Max uses his head for some "lean in" hugs and you can see this has confused el gato.

Max, the Vet, checking on toe nails.

But I think it is safe to say they are amigos.

Mañana? I need to get one more injection…doph. The wrist is so-so…maybe I need to keep the brace on longer? The “tumor” seems to be gone, but now the darn wrist just feels tight and sore. Stay tuned.

Have a great martes!!
