Remember the first foto as we will refer to it later.
Buenos noches!! Today's blog update is brought to you by the verbo "caer" and the conjugation, se cayó.
Hola from the chill room!! Currently 830pm
and Max is asleep and Bex is up in the oficina.
The Whisperer came in at 8pm and found
some heavy duty snugging going on, and there was some heavy duty sleeping going
on as well.
Nice to see these wide open eyes
staring at me through the dark, too bad they were Max’s…as Bex was asleep. Oh
madre!! Ja ja ja.
But after a few verses, Max was plopped
into his cuna, were he started tossing Gilligans. Doph. I quickly put my hand
on his back, took over singing duty and he was lights out. Phew.
Our día? Not much to report…we are all
on the mend. Max has less liquido coming out of his nose and sounds waaaay less
congested. Bex and I both have more energia and plan on staying healthy!!
The day was a usual day for us…prowl,
eat, prowl, good siesta and then I hit the gym.
Max still fighting the gripe, did go to
the playa, but it was a prowl day vs a swim day. We will see how he is doing mañana,
and then make the call. The lil’man misses his swimming!!
Due to la cena being leftovers, we
managed a family walk before la cena. Nice to get out as a family as it does
not happen often…and of course all the peeps in town can now see both of Max’s
padres at the same time!!
Easy dinner, easy tina time and of
course a FT con Oma y Opa. Off to bed, some bouncing and today it was fun with
plastic hangers vs reading our books. Oh well.
And you are almost all caught up.
Fotos.
From prowl #1...la luna. Max loves la luna!!
These next fotos help explain Max's impact on peeps.
Max has spotted his amigo, who works at a verdura store, lowering the awning. Max is ah ah'ing and without a hesitation, his amigo picks him up. And without complaining, Max is all into this. And then the two of them proceed to lower the awning together.
All that work and "double trouble" needs a sit.
I think Max sees himself in this character?
At the escuela and Max has blended in with the crowd as they head to the entrance.
Anoche, mucho lluvia. And this is how Max gets his playera y shorts wet.
This pose is called "sexy legs". If you ask Max to show you his sexy legs, this is what he will do. And peeps that know he will do this, have started asking him to do this and everyone has a good laugh...with Max, not at Max!!
Why he did sexy legs right then? No sé...I do not know why.
Padre, I have a double chin.
But not if I look up like this!!
Arbol curioso.
Back at the casa and we are about to go out for prowl #2, but Max needs to look up a few words on his computer before we go.
You can never have enough chino fotos!!
Like his padre, the hair does not grow long, it grows out!!
Not a bad smile for someone who had a fall!!
I think this is a yawn...or he is telling me what he thinks about brushing his dientes?
Too loud.
His pensive pose.
Max absconding with a banco from a comedor economico. Oh Max.
But Max stops in his tracks when the camion de Sabritas drives by.
Off to Oxxo, our 7-11, to do some laps and enjoy their super air con!!
They know Max and I never buy anything, but are happy to see him.
From ayer, post playa...how hot is it? Max needs to double fist the agua y leche.
Ok, what up with the verbo caer, to
fall? Max had a good one today…doph. We were at the escuela and as he always
does, he was running. Recall the foto of him running?
He has his daily trips, but gets up,
dusts off his hands and knees and continues on.
Today it was hands, knees and upper
lip. Ouch. One fat lip, some blood, a scraped mustache and for 2 minutes, lots
of tears.
Now you know I feel terrible that Max
has hurt himself, but I am at a loss on how to prevent these things from
happening.
The boy loves to run and even though he
does slow down when I yell out despacio, slow, that lasts for a few seconds and
then off he goes again.
So I will keep an even closer eye on
him, but the good news is that after 2 minutes he was fine and there is no
permanent damage. Phew.
And that is that.
Mañana looks like Che jueves for the
boys!!
Have a great día y hasta mañana.
Marco, Bexico y Max
