Buenos noches!!
710pm and I am stealing a few minutes
in Max’s chill room while madre gives him his tina.
Good news on the a/c front. After a
very warm evening, the a/c is ready for esta noche!!
This morning at 920am, Jose Antonio and
his helper arrived. Wacky timing as this is the time we normally head out for
prowl #2, and we also had Griselda here to do her weekly cleaning.
Thank goodness Bex took Max on the
prowl, and that let Griselda work around the trabajadores, while I kept peppering
the repairman with questions.
For the first hour, Jose Antonio kept
trying to make me believe that what happened ayer was normal. I kept telling
him it wasn’t and when he tried to show me that the a/c in Max’s room was
working, I showed him via the remote, that is wasn’t.
I guess Jose Antonio seeing and hearing
the external compressor running, even though all internal units were turned
off, made him realize something was wrong.
Meanwhile, Bex y Max have returned from
prowl #2 and there is no way they can use the recamara for his siesta.
Quick thinking…we grabbed the llave for
G10, as well as some pillows etc, and we ended up borrowing G10 for the siesta.
Madre took the first half while I kept an ojo on the a/c repairs and after they
were all done, I took over so Bex could get some things done.
And what was wrong with the a/c? There
was a problem with one of the upstairs units and it was triggering the
compressor, as well as denying cold air to come from the unit in Max’s room.
What was causing this short? A Gecko had
made its way onto the circuit board and shorted it. Adios gecko…hola aire fria!!
Once the gecko was gone and the board
cleaned, all was well!! Over two hours of hot work and $500 pesos later…all is
good.
After the siestas, it was onto a normal
afternoon rutina for us.
Me…el gimnasio and then home to chillax
before cooking and prepping for the PM rutina.
After their comida, Bex y Max were off
to the playa. Not much swimming and Max was not into the play date that had
been set up…doph.
Good eats for dinner…chuletas de
cerdo…and then easy tina time, FT con Oma y Opa and then bed time.
And at 8pm as I was just getting ready
to come in and close the show, out of the bedroom pops Bex…Max is already
asleep in the cuna. Score!!
Now, due to no 2nd prowl con
Max…there are no Max fotos tonight. Lo siento. But here are some fotos from
around town.
It is again political season here. Politics here is not a lot different, except for the rallies and the cars driving around blaring out the candidates message.
It is a big thing to be presidente of Santa Maria Huatulco and from what I hear, if you win, your family and friends win as well. Nudge nudge wink wink.
I think this wood is called maquil and is very hard...ant resistant.
Just some political fotos.
Relaxing after the rally.
Eating after the rally.
Always something new for sale. In almost 3 years, I have never seen these items for sale here in Huatulco.
And I end the fotos with a little color.
Misc
Sham wow...2 bad piñas in a row. Over ripe. Who knew?
Mañana? Otra vez…no plans, but it will
be fun!! Stay tuned.
Have a great viernes!!
Marco, Bexico y Max
