Hola hola y buenos noches!!
First off, Feliz Cumpleaños to Roly!!
Hope your night at the track was lucrative!!
Start off with some misc.
The hielo update…Max, as you know,
loves his bloque de hielo. Ayer, we saw a few more blocks of ice and instead of
just touching them, he made them into a sofa and had a true chilling time!! The
senoritas across the calle were howling!!
Hoy, we see the Agua Vitel hombres
cleaning out a freezer in front of SCA and there are these big hunks of ice
coming out. Max walks around the 3 guys, picks up the ice and smiles.
They laugh and I tell them “mirar”, to
watch. I ask Max to put the ice on his “sexy belly” and he lifts up his playera
and rubs the ice on it.
Now everyone is laughing and Max is
loving being the center of attention!!
No 2nd prowl today. It was a
Che day and once there, we hola’d a bunch of peeps Max knew, and some I did
not. We saw a senora who knew Max and as we went up the next aisle, we saw her
with her esposo and 8 month old niña.
I pick Max up so he can be suave y say
hola and then ask him if he wants to give her a besito, a small kiss. What did
she get? Thank goodness the parents laughed when Max laid a full on open mouth
kiss on this lil’girl. Oh Max!!
Max is enjoying his Robert Plant….Stu,
you would be proud. We have been listening to a song by RP and Alison Krause,
Gone Gone Gone, and when those lyrics come on, Max will sing gone, gone, gone
as well. So cool!!
So prior to la cena, the song is on and
I am strumming a little guitar and who starts strumming their own guitar?
Lil’Max is digging the guitar. And during bed bouncing time, he stops to strum
and say “guitar”. Hilarious!! Off to Jesics to find him his own guitar!!
Ok, onto our día! How about starting
with a 630am sleep in? Score!!
I took over at 730am’ish and Max and I
had a long early’ish prowl, knowing that Che was on the menu.
Good desayunos and then off to drop off
some recycling and then Che. No scores today and then home for leche and a good
siesta.
My health is slightly better...yippee. I
am able to eat a little faster and food that isn’t just soft and mushy. Nose is
almost there, ears only hurt sometimes and same goes with the throat.
Only issue was today I had a few bouts
of being lethargic. But not enough to keep me from joining the familia for some
time at playa Santa Cruz.
Hey, I had to go and see what all the
fun has been about…and it is fun!!
Some time with the familia and then I
headed home for the prep. Good dinner and an easy going PM rutina…phew.
Max was tired and only needed 2 verses
and he was lights out. Knock on wood…he has been sleeping soundly the past few
nights!!
Currently 835pm, Max is asleep and Bex
is hard at work in the oficina. Bex has a film on the go, a contract for 5
illustrations, still has 17 illustrations due for another contract and has an
invite to apply for another contract. Busy busy!!
Fotos.
From our 730am prowl and the sun is just coming up. Max is showing us what "too bright" means.
In the tourist tiangus, there are a few comedor economico and you will see lots of Mexican tourists in there grabbing some grub.
For the tiendas that sell trinkets and the such, I guess they have no water and come to the communal tap to get their agua. Here, muy curioso Max watches the action.
And then this afternoon, onto the playa.
Madre has already removed Max's casco and is getting ready to park the bici outside the iglesia.
Besito? Score!!
Now, I am just an observer on this trip, but I am told "normally", the paleta comes after the first swim...not before the first swim. Hmmmmm?
Max has picked out what he wants, and is letting his madre know...he needs pesos!!
Max pays whenever he can and he has two manos full of pesos ready to go.
A new flavour I was told...but Bex was not 100% sure what flavour it was. lol
Bex is getting ready for the oceano, so Max has some time to join in the conversation.
You did what?
Dude, did you hear that?
I cannot believe that happened.
Uh, are you sleeping through this story?
And now you are? What's wrong with you two?
Onto the playa...stepping into the ring.
Listo...ready!!
Time to ride some olas!!
Beached tiburón!! Oh, and Max knows how to say tiburón, shark.
In and out...all part of the rutina.
Cute or what!!
Hola, hola...there is always time to say hello to the amigas.
The newest member to the swim club has made her appearance.
Mañana? No plans. Will see what happens
and keep you posted!!
Have a great martes.
Marco, Bexico y Max
