Hola hola from Max’s chill room.
Holy frig is it hot tonight!! 830pm and
we are looking at 30,5 grados and 70% humido!!! It was a nasty temp to be
cooking dinner in…today I am stating that I WAS hating!! Ja ja ja
Happy Father’s Day…kinda feels like Día
de los Padres everyday!!
Slept in until 7am and was on the road
by 720am for prowl #1. Muy tranquilo on a Sunday morning, nice and cool as
well.
Before the prowl, we opened a few
regalos and loved the new picture frames with the Max y Bubba fotos!! Max was
excited about them too and I ask whose in the fotos and he points to me and to
himself!!
On the prowl, my latest joy is hitting
the bakery and buying a muffin and then having Max race outside to sit on the
curb, our curb, so he can eat the muffin with his padre!! Awesome.
The two new phrases that Max has picked
up are “Gas Oaxaca” and “hasta luego”.
The liquid propane trucks that drive
around are blue and white and the same color as Max’s favorite autobuses. To
get potential customers attention when they drive around, they have a speaker
that lets out a moooo, followed by the words Gas Oaxaca.
Max now mooos and says Gas Oaxaca when
he sees or hears the truck.
As for hasta luego, see you later, Max
has heard us say it enough times and today when we walked past Ricardo at the
gate, Max repeated luego when I said it to Ricardo.
Good prowl #1, good desayunos and good
prowl #2. Then home for a good siesta and a quick FT con Max’s abuelos in KW.
We headed out for our comida, but found
our café was closed. Doph. We went and had some pollo instead…Kentucky style!!
Ja ja ja
Yes, this one restaurante fries up some
pollo and calls it Kentucky, pronounced “Ken two key”.
Next door to this restaurante is a
panificadora where Max has another of his many amigas. Today she was there with
her amigo who had a very tiny cachorro, puppy.
We were given permission to touch and
hold this puppy and Max went crazy in a good sense. He was super suave and
LOVED the puppy so much, he was giggling!!
Ten minutes later…off to the condo.
Race afternoon for padre and Max y Bex hit the playa as it was another sunny
day for Huatulco.
Good dinner…needed lots of liquidos
after cooking it!!
Easy tina time and Max has been in and
out of his tina very fast the past few days. Maybe that is because he spends a
lot of time in the oceano y alberca?
Or he just wants to get into his chill
room, jump the bed and read some libros?
And you are caught up.
Fotos.
Condos Pacifico's goodwill ambassador. This senora is not very friendly to non-Mexicans...except Senor Max!!
Time for some more tricks con el sombrero.
In Mexico, if you use too much energia, you lose your government subsidy. Here is one way to ensure you do not exceed the limit.
Those meters were all for una casa.
Tiempo para una lección de español.
Colors (dyes), highlights, cuts, hairstyles, small lightning (??) and pedicures.
We popped into a tienda we had never been in before, and Max needed to lay an abrazo on this oso.
Just prowling...might need to move to a few more size 4 playeras!!
Max knows not to touch basura, garbage, with his hands, and is pretty good at avoiding it. Bit he does see his padre use his feet to kick some basura out of his way, and Max has decided he too will do this.
A few more Max misc tid bits?
During breakfast, he loves to kiss Bex’s
coffee mugs, Mickey Mouse and Piglet. Ayer, I had to hold both to Max’s cheeks,
at the same tine, so he could kiss both and get a coffee mug hug. Oh Max!!
We have a few sock monkeys and whenever
I hear the steam whistle of the roasted nuts salesman, I would always say it is
Bono, one of the monkeys. Now when I hear the whistle, I ask Max who it is, and
he now says it is Bono!! The niño makes us both laugh!!
Mañana? Nothing on tap…stay tuned.
Hasta mañana.
Marco, Bexico y Max
