Buenos noches!!
Another hot day here in Huatulco!! But
we started the day with overcast skies and that allowed the boys to have a
great first prowl in less then scorching temperatures.
You know it is time for the first
prowl, when at 720am Max is marching around with his Crocs on….the ones he has
put on himself. Of course, if you wait too long, he will bring you over your
flip flops and then ah ah.
Great prowl and as we worked our way
over to the bus stop, Max’s excitement builds.
We found an empty bus and Max wanted to
touch the llanta, but the rims were hot and the tires dirty.
As we were about to walk away, the
driver of the bus, a young hombre about 25 years old, comes by and says hola.
He asks Max if he wants to get in the
bus and Max looks at me and off we go.
True to Max’s nature, he allows this
hombre to pick him up and the two of them sit in the driver’s seat.
I tell the young man, I think his name
is Teo, that this is Max’s first time on an autobus and Teo asks if it is ok
that we all drive around the block to where he needs to pick up passengers.
It is a quiet block and I ask him to
drive slow and off we go.
Max is in his lap, both hands on the
big steering wheel and with a HUGE smile on his face.
A 1 minute drive took almost 10 and Teo
was as excited as Max. We both thanked Teo and off we went, thinking about all
the friendly peeps of Huatulco that we know and continue to meet.
Off to one of the escuelas, where
between 730 and 8am, all the students arrive. Max loves to run amongst them and
many of them come over to either say “hola Max” or just to meet the lil’man.
Huge desayunos and then we started
prowl #2. We were on the CP grounds and the sol came out…it was getting hot
We soaked our pies in the alberca, and
it became apparent that Max wanted to go in. Great idea mi hijo!!
So upstairs we went to get on our
trunks and guess who joined us…yup, madre came out for a familia swim!!
Super fun as Max was doing his spins
and his kicking while enjoying every minute!!
And now that he can float his way
around the complete pool, he can now look for spiders all on his own!!
Another long siesta and then madre y
Max spent the afternoon together…comida, playa, leche time and then some
bouncing on the trampolina.
Me…off to el gimnasio and then some
shopping at SCA (spice for pollo) and then home to set us up and cook la cena.
Great eats, easy tina time, FT con Opa
and then madre managed to lull the lil’man to sleep and plop him into his cuna.
I must say, madre has become not only
the silliest madre I know, but her humming and singing voice has been approved
by her hijo!!
Currently 925pm and all is tranquilo.
Max is asleep, Bex is hard at work and padre types away…we lost the TV signal…doph.
Bex has some possible work on the
horizon, but we will not jinx it by talking about it before she is signed up.
But she did finish one contract early and received an unexpected $90 bonus!!
Score…a whole lot of tortillas!! Ja ja ja
Lets get to some fotos.
No autobus fotos as it is normally too dark at that time of the day, but here we are on prowl #2 and Max has decided to carry padre's toalla.
Red alert...gorra down.
No problem padre!!
Max has spotted our cleaner Sabrina. She has been wiping the shelves near the window and is waving to Max with her cleaning toalla.
So Max acknowledges her with a saludos in return.
Off to the alberca but I spotted this seed hanging from between two arbol...thought it was interesting.
Ok, last foto of the día and it was one sent to me from someone I am honored and proud to call mi amigo!!
As usual, he is doing what it takes for his team!! Look Basil...twins.
What up…viernes already? Nothing planned…stay
tuned.
Have a great Friday y hasta mañana.
Marco, Bexico y Max
