lunes, el primero de febrero de 2011

Hola amigos.

Hoy es lunes de primero de febrero!! Mañana is Dia de Candelaria…here is a link to reacquaint yourselves with what the day is all about.

Hoy started with homework. Cramming before the clase de espanol…just like the old times!!

More verbos and this time they are irregular and “verbos con cambios en la raiz en el tiempo presente”. Ja ja ja

We are learning some very good information and it will all be useful…if I can remember it all.

Aceptan tarjeta de credito?

Recomiendas un hotel?

Tienes informacion de viages a Oaxaca?

All new phrases.

Weather update. Sunny for almost all of the day. The average temperatures in enero were highs of 30.8 vs 29.9 in diciembre and lows of 22.6 vs 21.2. Honestly, you can feel the 1.4 degree difference at night. The viento dies down and it stays warm much longer into the noche. And the last two nights lows? Only 24.

Movies for mañana…as it is 2 for 1 miercoles…either Imparable (Unstoppable) with Denzel or Los Proximos Tres Dias (the Next 3 Days) with Russell Crowe. Read mañana’s blog to find out where we ended up.

Stopped at Che after our clase, and then it was off to the gimnasio. Only two photos from that walk and here they are.

The tienda de bicicletas on calle Carrizal.

And here is a hombre selling his product in the parque.

Gimnasio was a-ok. I saw Francisco (dos) for the first time in weeks. He has been busy at his restaurante de Italiano (owned by the padre of the gimnasio’s patron) and really wants Bexcio and I to come down and try the lasagna.

He then went on to try and convince me (in Spanglish) that Mexico has some of the best wines in the monde (world). Not sure he was truly clear on what he meant, but we will eat Italian some day soon.

Doing some multitasking right now. Blogging and eating some sooo good sandia. I must eat almost a ¼ of a watermelon todos los dias (every day)!!

Ok, back to blogging.

Bexico is busy in her oficina as she has two projects on the go. I think she has signed on (or is about to) to create a 105 second animated video for a rock band!!

Me? Finished cooking the chili for mañana’s la cena as mañana we will be hitting the playa despues the gimnasio and then will be racing off to the movie. Hay tiempo para cocinar…no time to cook.

For our comida (lunch) we wolfed back some IKEA’ish hot dogs…salchichas de pavo con moustaza!! And seeing how good they were, I stopped at Issste (?) and picked up some more French’s!!

And cleaned them out of mil islas dressing. Ja ja ja

Then it was time for the alberca, where Bexico and I promptly fell asleep in our floaties and awoke at the other end of the pool, right in the middle of dos mujers conversation!! Ja ja ja

We had a quick walk around town and then came home for la cena and to relax.

You are all up to date.

Mucho frio y nieve in Toronto…bundle up.

saludos
