Hola amigos!!

Sábado por la noche aquí en Huatulco.

We are missing some sort of celebration as we have heard huge bangs and seen some fireworks shoot into the sky above the drunk tank (the building behind our pool).

Here is a Google map link to our condo and the drunk tank is above the pool, in the corner lot.

As for hoy (today), we had a great day…started a few hours later then planned…can you say “slept in”? Ja ja ja

As it was late, I postponed el gimnasio and instead, we packed up and headed to Mojon.

We were not stopped at Copalita, in either direction and made good time in both directions.

As we pulled into our lot, we saw that someone had been on it.

So we checked our palapa, it was safe, and then we checked to see if our one cactus was safe.

It was safe sound, and then we saw that this work that had been completed on the property.

I guess Antonio had been back to the lot and had done some work. How official it is will have to wait to be seen, but it looks like these clearly define the property boundaries and now all I need is the Federal Zone markers.

Kind of exciting…but still so far away from breaking ground. No crisis…we are young and enjoying life here either way!!

Bexico got right into serious mode…sussing out the condition of the olas de surf.

We did a little reading and relaxing under the sol, as well as taking time to take a foto of the Mexican navy.

I am sure they have more then one frigate! Ja ja ja

We did some boogie boarding in front of our lot, but it was high tide and the best boogie board waves are nearer to low tide. No crisis…we live in Mexico.

We did walk down the beach to the headlands as Bexico was going to give the olas there a shot on her tabla de surf.

Here is a foto of some construcción up the hill.

The southern headland. Note the 3 hombres in the upper right corner.

I thought they were there to watch the surfing, but it turned out they were there to fish.

Here is Miss Bexico headed out into the shark-infested waters.

The olas were supposed to be 4 rated today…but they were more like a 1 or 2. That meant a lot of waiting.

And here is Bexico waiting for la olas correcta….the right wave.

And if you cannot find that wave, you try to ride the agua blanca, white water. Here is Bexico about to make that attempt…look at the size of this white water!!

Here are 8 fotos showing the best ride of the day for Bexico. I think she is doing great…we just need the right types of olas.

When we were all done, it was back to the palapa, where we packed up and headed home.

A pit-stop at Che for roti pollo and then home to do our post-playa dip in the alberca.

La cena and ahora…chill time.

Mañana…feliz cumpleanos a mi padre!!!

Bexico will do a full day of work, while I will check out the Daytona 500!!

Hasta luego.

Marcos y Bexico
