I am almost all better!! Thank you all for your notes of concern…ja ja ja.

Just a bug…and no, it was not from the spices we eat.

Hoy, at the gimnasio, Rosa asked me ¿porque no estas en el gimnasio ayer?, and my answer was “yo tenía un malestar estomacal”.

Why was I not at the gym yesterday? Because I had an upset stomach.

Of course that opens the door to using the verbo “tener” (to have) in the past tense…oh am I looking forward to learning all the past and future presence conjugations. Not. ja ja ja

But let me tell you, after sleeping for almost 15 hours yesterday, I sure had lots of energía for today’s workout!!

A later start to the day and we had lots on the plato (plate), so we postponed Mojon until viernes. We will also go on domingo!!

Photos from today’s walk.

They LOVE their football-soccer here. This foto is from the hardware store on Carrizal.

Of course they sell soccer balls right next to blenders!!

Just a madre taking her nino to/from escolar.

This foto is of a sign outside the ice factory. Without Google translate, how much do you understand?

“barras” are “bars” or “blocks”, “para” is “for”,  “enfriar” is from the verbo “to cool”, “molino” is “ground” as in my ground beef, but here it would be “shaved” and “apartir” is “from”.

Learning the words is easy…it’s all about the verbos.

“ice cubes for human consumption, bars to cool products, ground ice from bars”

Otra trabajador Mexicano…but what’s up with the need for all the shelving?

And last but not least…

To each their own when it comes to taste in ceramic figurines!!

Let’s see, gimnasio, alberca tiempo, Che, a pequeño cena and then off to our movie.

The película (movie) was so-so…based on a true story, but still only so-so. Imparable (Unstoppable) with Denzel. In español, Bexico told the ticket girl that she liked her hair cut, with her comment well received!!

On the way home, we stopped for some paletas and also scored the last 3 bottles of mil islas dressing at the abarrote!!

Had the second half of our cena, and currently Bexico is hard at work, awaiting 10pm when her TV show “La Buena Espousa”, The Good Wife, starts.

Here is a link to the Mexican comic that Bexico has started reading. It helps with Español as well as inspiration!!

Condorito

We have a new amigo in the condos and it is Stuart from the condo below us. He wants to talk to us every time we see him around the pool, and to be honest, he is one of the nicer 80 year olds in the complex!! Ja ja ja.

Mañana we are headed to the Universidad for the play and currently we have no otro plans.

Mexicoism? Here is one last foto for you. It is from my bag of “pan blanco por hot dogs”…hot dog buns.

But why is the big title on the bag “Medias Noches”? Midnight?
Here is the nutritional data if you are interested.

You are up to date on the Bimbo hot dog bun situation. ja ja ja

Hasta luego.

UPDATE

The Good Wife is a repeat...and the uva (grape) paletas suck.
