Buenos noches amigos.

810pm and we are about to eat the otros half of our cena. Pollo con papas.

It is currently 30.7 grados inside and 28.9 outside. That is the theme for today…mucho calor!!

The gimnasio was nearly impossible…I will need to rethink what time I go, as at 2pm it must have been 40 grados upstairs in the cardio area.

The day started with an otros reunion (meeting) with Lanny to confirm the deets for lunes. I will be meeting the topographic hombre at 9am and will take him to our property. He will go about doing his thing, which will include confirming with the community if they have a street map of any sort, or if the lots were actually surveyed.

When all is said and done, I am expecting clear property lines (currently fences) as well as knowing where the Federal Zone is.

I stopped off at Che and loaded up. Pollo was in stock so I bought 8 thighs for esta noche and 8 for the freezer. Mañana will be hamburguesa so I also grabbed the fixing for that meal. And our desayunos por mañana? Spicy cerdo hash con huevos revueltos (scrambled eggs).

Headed to el gimnasio and it was hot on the walk. Here are the 4 fotos I took.

There is a very large fenced in park close to the zocalo and it stretches from near our condo all the way to the gimnasio. We need to go for a walk through it as on Google you can see many trails.

As we get further and further away from the rainy season, many of the trees are losing leaves and some areas are becoming the brown many of us know Mexico as.

I was walking and looked down this calle that I have taken before. It was where the Familia de Dios event was held (fotos in a previous post). Anyway, I looked up the hill and saw this structure that hasn’t previously been visible.

As I said, we need to go explore and see what is in the parque and what can be seen from these viewpoints. I am told that all the parrots roost in the parque at night.

Here is a link to Google Map, showing the parque and it's paths. The pool in the bottom left corner of the displayed map, is the pool at our condo. The structure near the top of the parque, is the one I took the foto of.

WFSITBOTT?

Cocos of course.

¿Porque this foto? I just liked all the colors.

No need for windshield wipers here.

Not sure what this is like to drive during rainy season.

As for the rest of the day…due to the aforementioned heat, it was a short session at the gimnasio. It is sabado so Logan was there and he hung out with me as I did some weights. He wanted to play video games with me (on his cell phone) and I went along.

Then it was a walk home, confirming Il Regoletto is open on lunes (Valentine's Day) para nuestra cena muy romantica!! Ja ja ja

Picked up some sandia and then it was alberca time. Even floating in the pool it was mucho calor!!!

Bexico then did some more work….UPDATE…Bexico has an otros contract!! She will be making an animated video for a rock bands song!! So cool!!

We went for a walk in the heat…5 months in and we are not climatized for this yet….as Mexicanos in jeans and sweaters walked by us…totally unaffected by the heat.

We went to the plasticos store and bought a mister (spray gun), so we can use vinegar to fight the hormigas, and a popsicle mold so Bexico can make her own paletas!!

Stopped for some fresh pan and then said hola to the boys. This led us to the tiende periodico (newspaper etc store) where Bexico loaded up on dos nuevo issues of Condorito….plop.

Big load on veggies…the young, unsmiling hombre at the store was even more unsmiling today. We heard anoche that THE (there is only one in town) Corvette had been in a serious accident. ¿Guess who owns the Corvette?

Came home, chilled down and then cooked and ate dinner.

As I type, Bexico is still hard at work!!

And earlier…a HUGE success with the pan de plátano!! Only issue…no Hector (silent H) as hoy, we did not see him on the grounds. Maybe mañana or lunes.

As for our day mañana…desayunos and then Mojon…and somewhere we have to fit in the tareas (homework…argh).

Hope mi hermano is having a good time at the game, watching the Canucks eventually beat mi hermanas equipo favrito, the Calgary Flames. (currently 3-2 for Van in the segundo period)

Have a great night!! Hasta luego.
