Buenos noches mis amigos.

It is day #1…Max is sleeping without his swaddle and is actually wearing pjs!! We have only had to go in and calm him down twice…I expect a few more visits before the night is through. Stay tuned.

Best part of the day for Bex y Marco? Max was in his tina, getting ready for the rutina to start. So padre gives him some raspberries on his belly and he starts laughing and giggling. I continue and he continues. I stop and the look on his face was SO hilarious, that both madre y yo were crying from laughter.

Two big eyes, his mouth was the shape of an O and he was kicking and splashing. What a character. All of you out there…feel free to come and visit us and the lil’hombre!!

As for the rest of the day…it was great. The clima has been sunny and warm, not too hot and no humido…knock on wood. Nights have been cool…easy to fall asleep. Except for the frigging dog on the roof of San Augustin’s…he needs a mate!!

This morning, Bex was up early and then took a cat nap before her 10am Skype con sus padres.

So I hung out with Max until 10am and then chatted up R&H who were checking in on the cleaning going at G10. Looks like we might go visit them over the next 2 weeks and maybe they will come join us for a trip to Mojon.

Talking about Mojon, with el gimnasio closed and the town crawling with tons of peeps, we headed out to Mojon around 1130am.

It was a great day and time flew…we didn’t leave until 430pm. We had our walks, found some shells and Max had both some hot tub time...and another nap on padre!!

Some fotos?

These are Max and I prior to getting ready for the road trip.

Loco padre?

Madre...look what I have to put up with!!

Ok then...besos!!

And here are the Mojon shots.

The stroller series...nice to see him sitting up on his own.

Must remember teether....doph.

Piercing blue eyes anyone?

There were some 2 metro olas today.

What's missing from this next foto? Bad karma is headed to the peeps who took our ganchos de hamaca (hooks).

Off to the ferretería to buy two more.

We were actually car #3 in a 4 car procession down the road from the carretera to the playa.

Here are a few of the peeps who joined us at Mojon.

Wow these fotos are small. Instructions for Max, on the bottom of his personal hot tub.

Here are some fotos from pre-rutina.

Max and Mini Maxx...un regalo from Tío Melon.

Max on padres chest...again?

Lean back Bubba...less chins in the foto that way...doph.

And last but not least, some fotos from ayer.

Lined up for fresh pescado.

This is all that is keeping the doors to the banco locked?

I count 7 in the back...including the 3 joven standing up. Doph.

Until Micros came around...the universal problem in restaurantes...the split cheque!!

Woody....woodpecker.

Where there is a peso to be made.

Two for $10 pesos is a great deal.

Some peeps sell agua...others sell cebollo?

Un BonIce taxi?

After Mojon it was a pit stop into Che, needed some proteins for la cena. Pasta para esta noche y pollo para mañana. And a little more Coca Light!! Ja ja ja

Home for 5pm and I had a dip while Max y madre had some chill time. And you are all caught up.

No Nascar race mañana…hola to alberca time!!

We will wait until the pool is fully shaded before we bring the lil’hombre down for his pool time. Por que? He has some red cheeks (on his face!!) and a little extra color on his left arm y leg. Doph. Not worried, just being cautious with the lil’blanco and the Mexican sol!!

Big day at the iglesia…but no chocolate eggs here. We will be ensuring that max does not miss out on any of the traditions he would experience if he was living in Canada. Hello to pesos under the pillow when he loses un diente!! Ja ja ja

Last foto...take a look at this expression!!

Have a great Easter.

Marco, Bex y Max
