Hola amigos!!

1010pm and the Flames are up on the Nucks, 2-1. But this sounds familiar…and I think the Canucks won the last game these two teams played!!

Bex to the rescue…homemade Mil Isla!! And you cannot tell the difference from Kraft…score!! Gracias mi novia.

The day…

Same morning rutina…on the second watch Max and I went for our walk, had some feet in the pool and then came up and work up madre for some leche.

Fotos from our walk.

Possible slight rear wheel tire rub?

Hola to Semana Santa!! Sell it if you have it!!

Remember that foto of the comedor economico...a few days ago? Look at it today!!

Max and I saw a huge truck, full to the rafters with fruits y verdura. They were moving it from the truck to a "warehouse"...looks like they compete with Fruver, the big outfit on calle Carrizal. Anyway, this box caught my ojo.

From the neighboring estado of Chiapas, USA brand bananas...pero hecho en Mexico!!

Forget about the baño...this is about the orange tubing.

During construcion, it is run amongst the rebar before the concreto has been poured. Once dry, all your electric, TV, etc cables are run through.

There is one restaurante I know that has a wood burning horno.

Hola to a short nap and when he woke up, it was time for a FT with mis padres. Max was a vocal niño today and I am sure he is looking forward to a visit from his abuelos.

Then came the executive decision to forgo the gym, and go straight to Mojon!!

Easier said then done (packing etc) and we hit the road around 2pm. We are sooo looking forward to the día when our drive will be FROM Mojon to centro!!!

Great time at our palapa…and I am meeting with an architect next week!! Stay tuned.

Fotos from Mojon.

Bex thought my outfit did not match?

Walk time for Max y madre.

In the middle of no where...peeps for a walk?

Southern headlands.

There has been some erosion.

The sand comes and goes...replaced by these rocks.

The path to the beach next door...is behind the olas grande.

Or you can climb the rocks.

Glad we did not but the lot above this erosion!!

The "wall" has been built!!

The headland development is coming together nicely.

The playa today.

The playa a few years ago.

Know how I know these peeps did NOT get their environmental study done?

The muy tonto Bexico series. Maybe it is because of the sweater she is wearing...at the playa!!

The White House. Damage is from last year...the owner hasn't spent a peso on fixing his place up. Huh?

Beach erosion showing the different layers of arena y rocas.

Blow it up, fill it up, leave it under el sol...and hello to Sir Max's private hot tub!!

My new favorite foto...Max y Pedro Pollo.

And after all those laps..and peeing in the pool (oh Max), time for a siesta.

No swaddle, just some rocking and the sounds of del mar.

Late start, late ending. We left at 530pm, pit stop at Che…hello to all meat sausages and real milk!! Also picked up some lean molida res for the meatloaf, which has been postponed until mañana. Hello to pizza night!!

Late rutina but managed to catch up and Max was zzzz by 715pm. And then awake again by 750pm and asleep by 8pm!! Led by Bexico’s reading, we are trying to figure out how to get Max to sleep longer through the night as well as how to get him to sleep without having to swaddle him and rock him so much.

The plan is to wake him up at 11pm when Bex hits the hay, and “top off his tanque”, with the thinking that he can sleep 5-6 hours when we first put him to sleep, so maybe he can sleep 11pm-5am on the second feeding.

As for the swaddling and rocking…hello to Niño Tylenol!! Just kidding. Not sure how we are going to do this. But the first thing is to make sure he is put in his cuna, or on the bed, while he is still partially awake, so he can learn to soothe himself to sleep. Tough call for a cat who hates to sleep. Stay tuned.

Bex is up in the oficina. The film she sent to Belgium was loved…hello!! She has more work for that client, has the one in Australia that sends her work on a consistent basis, the new client in California and a Canadian client that has woken up and smelled the coffee!!

He was making soooo many changes to the work he had previously approved, that it was eating into the profit from the set fee contract Bex had with him. Good news is that he loved her work and wants her to do more…on her terms which is hourly.

The best part of hourly for Bex is that she gets paid for all her time. The best part for the client is that they can log onto the website and see what hours Bex has spent on their project, and using the screen shots that are automatically taken, they can also see how the project is coming along. Coolio.

Our viernes? Other then the meatloaf…nothing else is planned. I am not sure the rico gym is open as it is Good Friday…hello alberca time!! We will NOT be hitting the local beaches as they will be crazy packed.

A Mexican costumbre? Flopping during Semana Santa. Many peeps drive in from the interior and instead of staying at hotels, they pitch tents on the playa, rent single rooms from families or flop in deserted buildings.

Today I saw 20 peeps in the ground floor of an empty office building…mats, sleeping bags and camping chairs. I am sure these peeps are renting the space…just a Mexican costumbre…custom.

Buen fin de semana ms amigos!!

Flames 3, Canucks 2…oh well.

Marco, Bex y Max
