Buenos noches!!

930pm and time to drop you all a quick update…with many fotos!!

All is GREAT here!! Max is loving his abuelos, he even spent some alone time with them while I was at el gimnasio and Bex was doing her workout. Good to see he is comfortable around them and other peeps…like the 100 Mexican amigos he has around town!!

Our rutina has not changed much, walks around centro, alberca time, el gimnasio, eating, blogging and working in the oficina.

It has been nice to introduce mis padres to all the amigos around town and Max has been super well behaved. Several naps today and I don’t think any of them were chest naps!!

The swaddle is a thing of the past (knock on wood) and even tonight when the niño whisper was sent in at 735pm, all we did was have some pillow talk, kept him away from grabbing his toes and ta-da…asleep.

Maybe talking about all those Sylvester Stallone peliculas, put him to sleep? Hello…Rhinestone in 1984…with Dolly Parton!!

On Tuesday and Wednesday we had some dark clouds over the montaña and you know what that means!! April is here and we had our first taste of thunder!!

Don’t know whom to thank, but since March 13, the peso vs CDN dollar has gone from 12.7/dollar to 13.1/dollar. That 3.15% increase means that $10,000 pesos now costs me $23.64 CDN less…hello to 24 cervezas!!

Want to hear words you didn’t think Oma knew? Ask her to tell you about the priest who was in her French class…oh Oma!! Ja ja ja

Ok…Mojon. We might go there sábado o domingo. Either day works great…the race is on Saturday night!!

As for the meeting with Roman and the architect…it went great. Lots of options for our sliver of land…all long and narrow options. But with 30 metros of ocean view beach front...who cares if the house is only 5.5 metros wide?

Next steps…figuring out what we can afford and then the real fun starts. Picking out contractors and getting all the paperwork completed. Ugh. Stay tuned.

Ok…tons of fotos.

First off...misc fotos.

It has been almost comical trying to get garrafon de agua. These two sat here empty for 2 days.

Maybe this is what the Wolf wanted at Kits beach?

Screw the hot dogs, bring out the tacos!!

I need one of these for the Mojon exit from the highway!! Dumb a** maleducados!!

Another local who did NOT take the business planning clase!! Not sure about the workmanship...doph.

It is a nightclub, on a parking lot that now has a roof over it.

Happy Semana Santa...not.

Civic pride. These peeps planted a tree and are cementing a protective cage around it.

These next fotos are from the two morning walks we have taken con mis padres.

Miercoles...

Headed to G10 to pick up the padres.

Uh...Oma...hands off my pollo!!

The three of us are hypnotized by this parrot.

Hello to another $20 pesos!!

This would be an indigenous Zapotecan who wanted me to take a camera phone foto of Max. This senorita is almost always in the zocalo selling their hand made crafts.

Here we are making sure Max knows we did not sell or trade him.

Padre, Opa y Max in front of the bandstand.

From today....

Dropped Pedro in favor of the bumblebee.

I told Bex to use more suntan lotion!!

Back at the zocalo, unslinged and cooling off. Oma found some Canada Dry tonic water!!

These are alberca fotos from ayer.

Are you looking at my bum?

Life is just full of giggles...

So if I pee in the pool...NO ONE will know?

Naaah naaah de naaah naaah!!

Oh padre...not in publico!!

But I will take a beso from mi madre!!

And alberca fotos from today....new outfit #2!!

Who knew a kid 5.5 months old could hold his breath for over a minute?

Ok everyone...mal chiste...bad joke. Call off the social workers!! This foto was taken by Opa, just as Max exits from his dunk....of 1 second!!

And last but not least, the "Feeding Max in the Bumbo chair" series. Look at those expressions!!

Ever fart in a Bumbo? Oh Max!!

Mom...you have the toots too?

Our viernes? Some antojitos at R&H’s at 5pm…and other then that, nothing else above and beyond the ordinary. Unless you call Che above and beyond.

Hasta mañana.

Marco, Bex, Max y los abuelos de Max…who do seem like they are enjoying the alberca!!
