Buenos Noches!! It is Viernes…Friday!!

Not much new here today and based on blog feedback…here are more photos!!

The Mexicans are thrifty…look at this homemade broom.

Here is the mercado in the industrial section…they sell comida as well as clothes and tools.

You pay higher rent for the exterior corner. Local version of Home Depot, but we have seen the real thing in the Norte (North) of Mexico.

This guy was waiting for his turn to pull his truck into the front of a grocery store (they have no loading bay at this store) and have it unloaded manually.

I was riding the stationary bike at the gym on the second level, where they have two windows at a corner of the building. I went to adjust the windows to try and get a breeze, and saw this fella sun tanning.

Here is Eduardo/Lalo cleaning the glass at the jeweler store he works at. Lalo speaks great Ingles, but we like him more for his easy going personality. Today he is wearing a very toned down shirt and it is buttoned up one more button then normal. The guy has a brillo pad on his chest!! lol

You often here trucks driving around blaring messages from loud speakers fastened to their roof. You hear the propane guy, the everyday advertising guy etc and I have gotten to the point where I ignore the message. This photo was taken too late as the truck had turned a corner away from me.

Not sure you can make out any of the words on the poster, but it advertises something to do with Tarzan. The pick up truck was pulling a trailer with two cages on it. One cage had a full grown tiger and the other had a baby elephant in it. I am sure there is a circus somewhere in town.

530pm…just chilling after the dip in the pool. Dinner will be either burritos or quesadillas (or both) and postere (dessert), will be watermelon. Bex was kind enough to cut up a whole watermelon, ensuring we have no waste!!

Looks like a trip to Mojon this weekend and maybe Puerto Escondido next week to look at surf boards!!

No internet installer yet…off to the Blue café later.

Until Sabado (Saturday)

Saludos
