It took a little work, but I did manage to "convince" Max to pose for this foto.

Buenos tardes!!

A mixed bag of el sol y nubes, but it is a nice day outside and we will take a day like this mañana for Max's fiesta...por favor!!

We are almost all ready...Bex has been go go go on the details of loot bags etc and mañana she will be at Arroyo at 1pm for some set up...hanging the piñata and taste testing more of the dulces tambien!! Oh Bex!!

The trabajadores are excited and as much as this is a fiesta for Max, we like to include the peeps that have known Max the longest. The guys work hard'ish, get paid little and are always more then friendly to the lil'man.

So we invite them for a free afternoon at the water park, throw in some food and beverages and watch them enjoy themselves. We will see most of them bring their families y niños...it is going to be a big crowd!!

We are stoked and look forward to all the fun...fotos to follow of course!!

How was our día?

It started with the 825pm lights out. A short fuss when The Niño Whisperer came in to close the show, but after the familia abrazo, all seemed ok.

A good noche...1230am pee break and then manos at 430am...yikes. But they stayed draped over the rail until 620am. Yahoo...when did 620am become something to celebrate? Ja ja ja

Onto the usual morning for The Boys...videos, apps, play time, desayunos and then some videos while we got ready to go. Great news? The Palacio was cleaned up mas pronto and that means we shared a bagel!! Lesson learned?

Not sure where the time flies. But we went for a prowl to SCA for our huevos, then jumped into the camioneta verde and were off to Soriana. No scores...they are sold out of queso cheddar tambien!!

But we did see one of Max's amigas, Mia, and she seems to LOVE the lil'man. She did not talk to us, but her padres are excited about the fiesta. Hello!!

Home...zoom zoom...and we unloaded the perishables and then off to the CP alberca we went. Bex joined us after her bici tour...she went and grabbed a few copies of The Eye, the magazine with her art work on the front.

The mag looks great...felicidades Bex!!

Familia swim, silliness and abrazo..."can I come in?" asks Max.

Upstairs for the post swim rutina...leche y libros and then the lil'man was lights out by media día.

Not the longest nap for him, but he was in a good mood  (phew!) and came out to wash some dishes.

I headed off to el gimnasio and then came back and spent 20 minutos chatting up Silverio y Marcos. Silverio was working the gate and Marcos, having been off work at 2pm, had a lil'glaze in his ojos. A few Coronos will do that to you.

Nice to chat them up and make them laugh...with me and at me I am sure!!

Upstairs for a lil'clean up and some blog updating and I am about to have some tranquilo time before loading the lomo de cerdo into the horno.

The familia had a good lunch and then tok the camioneta verde off to playa Maguey...fun times!!

Ok, dinner at 530pm...let's look at the fotos.

Based on this first foto, I wasn't sure what type of fotos I would be taking.

But Max loosened up...a little.

Poppa...look deep into my ojos!!

Looking into the casa to see if madre is coming out to say hasta pronto.

Like this next look wouldn't scare you into staying inside??

My two blowfish.

Oh lookie lookie at what we have found!! Oh yes...a flat tire...yahoo!!

Heading home from SCA, huevos in hand, Max stops to admire some flores.

And is then offered one to smell.

And then gave me the huevos to carry as the flore was given to him as a regalo, present. He said gracias and that put smile on the señora face.

Ok, tranquilo time.

Back at you post tina time.

Hasta pronto!!

Buenos noches!! The familia had a fun time at the playa and then were home for some tranquilo time before getting right into la cena. It was going well until Max stuffed his boca, began to gag and well...you know what happened next. Clean up in the Palacio please. Yikes.

A clean plate and he managed to finish off lots of the salmon and even had some gravy covered rice y cerdo...after swearing that he did not like and did not want gravy. Of course he did.

Clean up and then a break for madre as The Boys went on a post cena prowl. We checked in on our pingüinos and then off to the zocalo where a school band was playing. We missed the first song and then there was a bunch of peeps talking, but Max played it cool and the next thing you know...hola hola to the lil'man dancing!!

A little break for more talking (phew) and then more dancing!!

Some how the lil'man dancing was drawing more attention then the 15 niños on stage playing their instruments.

I always get confused...today is November 1, but there are niños in costume and they are trick or treating...or at least trying to.

We were late..oh oh. But we hustled home and Max was having a relaxing tina time until he did not listen to his madre and made the piso wet via his tortuga. Adios tortuga...hola hola to tired niño meltdown that lasted 10 minutos.

Off to bed because you are tired, or calm down and we can read libros? Hola hola to calmed down and reading libros!!

Currently 740pm and The Niño Whisperer has 10 minutos before he goes in and closes the show. Buen suerte!!

Misc

Having arrived back from playa Entrega, not Maguey, I am told the story about Max not listening to his madre. I am told he has some attitude today, to which Max chimes in "I have attitude". Oh yes you do!!

Hey...you didn't think I would forget did you?

In the month of octubre de 2014, we had average lows of 25,9 grados and highs of 30,8. This compares to a much warmer 2013 where we saw averages of 27,0 y 32,0.

Lluvia? Six days this octubre vs 9 last year but we did have waaaaaay more humido this year with 13 días vs 4 last year.

What can we expect for noviembre? Average lows of 26,3 with highs of 32,4. Last year we had only 2 días with noticeable humido and only 1 día with some rain. Muy seco, dry.

Ok, have a great domingo and wish us well with the fiesta!!

Hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
