Excuse me!!
Buenos tardes!!
Currently 315pm and as Max y madre were just about to head out to the CP alberca, Poppa brought out Max's new RC truck...major distraction!! Sorry about that Bex.
Madre has a splitting head ache...oh oh. Post alberca time I might take over Max watch and take the lil'man out for a pre-cena tour or prowl.
Talking health...I have some aches and pains tambien. Sore bicep, sore butt, sore back, sore hip. What, am I almost 50?
Ok...a ton, yes a ton, of fotos to follow...so let's do everyone a favor and keep the words to a minimum.
Wacky 5am...poo dance in the dark. Back into bed for videos at 6am and then Bubba, who finally slept in until 7am, took over.
I scooped Max off his bed and just let Bex sleep away. After a wacky 5am, more sleep was needed.
Usual morning for The Boys and that included a nice bici tour, hola hola to some cruise ship peeps who were from Ohio, and then back home for some leche and then a quick dip in the CP alberca.
Upstairs for leche y libros and due to a 5am wake up...hola hola to siesta time at 1130am.
Lights out 20 minutos later and he we decided to wake him up at 140pm, hoping to avoid a long bed time tonight. Buen suerte!!
I managed to get the fiesta foto count down to 60 and also managed to upload them before heading off to el gimnaiso. I took the truck as my right hip is killing me, had a short modified session and then came home to cook up the pollo for esta noche. Hola hola to Bubba quesadillas!!
Max y Bex had cooked up the last of the camarones and were sharing them with Manny before heading out to the alberca.
And ta da...you are all caught up.
Wait a minuto...did you see the race ayer? I managed to watch what had been PVR'd, and what a post race wrestling match. The new Chase format is making peeps edgy!!
Ok...onto a ton of fotos!!
First off, some fotos from hoy, today.
The "first you invade my privacy by taking fotos of me in the buff, and now you take more fotos?" look.
Or maybe he was upset that I had not cleaned off some food from his chin? Oh Poppa!!
Testing the timbre outside our casa.
Outside the panificadora...vagabundo #1.
y #2!!
At the school yard for a pit stop in the sombra.
Hmmmm...handle bar grip?
En frente de Oxxo...pit stop on the carros.
I confirmed with the trabajadore in Oxxo, that this mask was called a mascara.
He broke out laughing at me calling it a mascara...it is pronounced mas-kah-ra. Oh silly me?
Ok, onto the rest of the fiesta fotos!!
Some of the guests under the palapa. The señora pouring jamica, is Griselda our casa cleaner. She really helped out by keeping the palapa organized and thus we surprised her with a $200 peso propina.
Lil'Max asking his Poppa if I need a "cola chelas".
The bouncie castle and the chico trampolina were included in our entrance fee.
The birthday boy rarely has dulce treats and here he is enjoying a blue sucker as he prowls his fiesta.
Everyone was kicking back and enjoying the fiesta.
And using the castle.
Off to the water slides!! Max wanted to go down the big slides, and so off The Boys went. We went down both of the big slides and so many peeps were gawking at us...no other 3 year old was going down the big slides!!
After 2 slides, off to the medio size slide and here we are after splash down.
Lots of peeps having fun with their madres y padres.
Max loves this slide the most as he goes down alone and it is the fastest for him, faster then the medio slide where everyone gets stuck in the middle!!
Hugo y Hugo enjoying the alberca.
Marciano, a CP trabajadore, and his hijo.
Milka y Poppa. She was not feeling well at the time, but better later for some pool time.
Tony, mi amigo y mecanico, and his familia and one amiga.
Hugo has moved on from his hijo, to drinking some chelas with Silvero, another CP trabajadore.
Back to the water slides!!
Daniel, our amigo that works at the joyeria.
And here comes Joshua (pronounced Hose-way), his hermano.
More piñata wacking.
I am not sure who is more excited in this next foto. Gwen or the señora (hee hee hee) in the back ground?
Daniel Jr, old enough for the bandana over his ojos. His padre, Daniel, was in charge of raising and lowering the piñata and he played no favoritos!!
Back to round #2 for Max.
Oh yes, Max has intensity!!
La Reina de las Piñatas giving out instructions!!
Ok, you are about to see lots of fotos of this next niña. Her name is Danica, an amiga de Max, she is 5 years old and she is the older, Mexicana version of Max. Lots of intensity when it comes to playing and piñatas. Needless to say, Max y Danica get along well.
Dude, look at this swing!!
Beware the niña tongue!!
Tony's hija, Camella.
Not everyone had intensity. I don't think this niña liked to hit things and the piñata did not suffer any blows...it hardly moved.
Another amiga.
Hijo de Silverio.
It was taking some time to break into this "niño friendly" piñata. I left to check on something and while I was gone, Bex took charge of the piñata....literally.
I missed the foto!! There was a small crack in the piñata and with all the niños waiting by eagerly, Bex ripped open the piñata!! And see what followed next...mas hysteria!!
Knowing there are bound to be dulce hoarders, and there were, Bex had the loot bags to hand out so every niño (almost) went home with dulces.
And post piñata, the pingüinos were handed out, and all 70 of them disappeared in a heart beat. At least one made it into the lil'man's belly and here he shares it with the #1 girl in his life!!
Phew...that was a foto project!!
Currently 515pm and Bex's head ache has diminished, but she is pooped out due to the 5am poo dance. The familia is off for a pre-cena tour and will be back in 15 minutos.
Off to cook up some oh so yummy quesadillas and back at ya post tina time.
Hasta pronto.
Buenos noches!! Tina time is under way...yahoo!!
We had a good dinner...Max loves quesadillas and ate a plateful!! Madre took a relaxer and The Boys had a fun prowl in the dark..."walking in the dark, walking in the dark...."!!
Not much going on yet as it is only 7pm, but in another hour or so the locals will be out in full force for their cena.
Off to finish clean up and onto the bed time rutinas!! Max said he was pooped and actually wanted (muy raro) to be carried by his Poppa!! Good exercise lugging around an extra 17 kilos!!
Mañana? The lil'man turns 3 years old!! Three years ago tonight, Bex and I were having dinner with Kent y familia and at 4am the contractions started up!!
Wow...time really seems to have flown and now we have a lil'dude who is asking a ton of questions and having some great conversations with us.
We will open regalos in the morning, have our usual rutinas during the day and then will have our dinner at Los Portales. We will bring the pastel there and I know Max is looking forward to more chocolate. After that...he can wait another year!!
Ok, have a great noche y hasta mañana.
Marco, Bexico y Max
