Is that not a face to love?
Buenos tardes. About 30 minutos away from la cena, pollo muslo, and the familia is out at the jungla again. Max loves it there!! It is actually a fairly clean park by the oceano, with a nice breeze and the 2nd functioning water fountain in all of Huatulco!!
Not much to report today. Early morning again...Bex had Max watch and I recall being woken up sometime before 630am. He had been up since around 5am...oh Max.
We think it might have something to do with having no leche before bed. Last night was the first night with none, and as he lay in the cuna, he grabbed a bottle of agua and was a-ok. We think he is waking up with a "rumbly in the tummy" as Pooh would say.
So tonight, leche before bed, but then we will brush his teeth before he falls asleep. Stay tuned.
Wow...sitting in the palacio with Max at 630am...lots to do!! We had some car time, Lego time and tranquilo time. Onto the huge desayunos and we were done sooooo early, that we had a prowl before coming back to the casa and jumping into the truck. Destination Sorianas.
One fun tid bit from the prowl? We were passing by a very small grocery store that always seems to have 2-3 hombres sitting out front, drinking their chelas...at 9am. The hombres are friendly and try to get Max to talk to them...but Max is smarter then that!!
I chat them up and as we are about to leave, Doc Carillo shows up in his taekwondo outfit. Our cigarette smoking doctor has lost 10 kilos in 3 months!! Felicidades!!
Max recognizes the doctor and becomes super friendly. Choque and a wave adios as well. When we get back to the condo, Max runs into Hector and en ingles, tells him that he has seen Doctor Carillo...of course Hector has no idea what Max has said!!
When we come back from Sorianas, Max makes sure he tells his madre that he has seen "hombre Carillo"!! Ja ja ja
Good haul on the groceries etc...panale stock up and they were on sale too. Che, the other store we shop in, does not have sales very often, nor does it have the tarjeta de puntos that Sorianas has.
As we were loading up the camioneta and Max was playing with the alarm fob, we met another muy amable hombre that was curious abut Max, and the camioneta. Lifted up the hood to show off the 6 cylinder supercharged motor, and we chatted it up for a while. He knew where Canada was, but no idea how far away it was.
Home for leche, libros and the 90 minuto siesta.
I was off to el gimnasio and then I met the familia in the CP alberca for the familia swim. Post siesta, the familia had their comida, then had some playtime and then were off to the pool.
And after leche and clean up, off they went.
So...onto the fotos.
If you take enough fotos, you will eventually get one of Max looking into the camera.
Ta-da!!
And then you get the "are we going yet?" pose.
Deep in thought Max.
Naaaah. He was looking at satellite dishes and here he points out a few.
Delivery day at Fruver...the camion grande has arrived.
Max y Poppa.
Misc
At el gimnasio, I was reading the local newspaper and saw a few interesting articles. One said that we are officially into rainy season, as it runs from 15 de mayo to primero día de noviembre.
I also read that it is official...Mexico's public schools are wacked and their union makes unions in BC look really good!! In Mexico, there are 25 teachers that earn more money then the President of Mexico, and there are some 20 teachers, on the payroll, that all have 12/12/12 listed as their birth date. Yikes...they are 101 years old!!
Back home, I was doing a little web browsing and came upon THIS. A good read...it clearly answers some questions I had about tonight's Sprint Showdown and the All Star Race that is being run mañana.
Well...that pretty much lets you know what I will be doing tonight y mañana por la noche!! Looks like on domingo we will be having another lunch at playa Mojon!!
Ok, time to set the PVR...race night in Huatulco!!
Hasta mañana.
Marco, Bexico y Max
