The lil'man sporting some tape to keep another scrape, yes another one, covered.
Buenos noches!! 710pm and round 1 is under way...buen suerte. Actually...we have been having some success using a wide hair band as sleep goggles for the lil'man. It slows him down and he can focus on falling asleep vs what is going on around him.
The day? A good sleep and a 545am wake up. Tranquilo time until video time and then onto videos. More tranquilo time at 7am and then onto pan frances sábado!!
Not sure where the morning went, but it was almost 930am by the time we headed out for our tour. Due to last night's lluvia, it was not as hot as usual....phew. But that didn't mean we didn't come home and have a session in the CP alberca!! Max tread water and did a little swimming around his Poppa, who kept his feet cool...and was ready to help out the lil'man if need be!!
Upstairs for leche, libros and the siesta...almost 2 hours today!!
Once we were awake, time to pack up, load up and head to the playa. Sunny when we left and overcast when we arrived. We even had some very light sprinkles while we were there. No complaints as it was nice and cool!!
Fired up the BBQ and cooked up the gorilla cheese and then some salchichas...more gourmet cooking!!
We had some sand in front of our lot, so the familia did some digging and building, and then we were all off for a playa prowl.
Grande olas and more wicked currents, so we stayed out of the water...doph. Oh well, we have the CP alberca and playa Santa Cruz is generally tranquilo.
Loaded up at 430pm and headed home for the usual post-Mojon rutina. Clean up, cook, clean up again, tina time and then onto bedtime. Throw in a FT con Oma y Opa as they are headed on a trip...buen viaje!!
And ta-da...that was our sábado.
So onto the fotos!!
After a good amount of rain last night, we had some great night time temperatures of 26,6 grados, a cool morning and some puffy nubes. Looks like a great day for gorilla cheese sandwiches at playa Mojon!!
The banister series. Too many expressions for me to choose from...so you get to see them all.
As we were about to start our tour, we heard some miau'ing coming from the condos next door. We found momma gato y dos niños.
We put on our casco, headed out the CP gates and went next door looking for the cats and found out they had gone into someones condo. An hombre came out and after explaining what we were doing, he invited us in to say hola to the kittens!! Muy amable this hombre, eh?
Pit stop at the mall to see if the dentista o zapateria were open...ahhhh no. So, test drive the carros instead.
Paloma nest in the zocalo. Max loves paloma nests!!
Check out that sonrisa!!
Señor Muy Curio just checking out the peeps.
Checking out Poppa's camera.
We came upon a moto blocking the sidewalk and Max wheeled around it. He stopped and told me "Max drive moto" and I asked when and his response was "5 months".
And with a grin on his face, we were off to soak our pies (Max swam) in the CP alberca.
Ayer, the play group went swanky and they all met at a development called Montecito, and here are some fotos.
Aguaman doing his laps.
Tiburon Max on the prowl...scoping out bikinis I was told!! Oh Max!!
Hmmmm...why don't we build one of these albercas at playa Mojon?
All that swimming and Max has worked up a thirst. Good thing Mika has prepared some bebidas!!
Service with a smile.
Baño?
Misc...found this satellite image on the Montecito website and thought it might give peeps better idea as to where Huatulco is.
Or maybe not? Ja ja ja
Hola hola...the 830pm update? Max was lights out after 35 minutos con su Poppa. Score!!
Lots of thunder, lightning and mas lluvia!! And can you say brrrrrr? It is a balmy 26,5 grados right now!!
Ok mis amigos, you are all caught up. Mañana? The usual rutinas with a race thrown in for good measures!! It is quesadilla domingo with fresh made pico de gallo....yummy!!
Have a great domingo y hasta mañana.
Marco, Bexico y Max
