Hey man, how you doin? I had a greaaaat day...read on.
Buenos noches. Was that Max Spicoli Van? Yikes.
Currently 7pm and round one is under way. We made it home from Mojon at 515pm and were eating dinner 30 minutos later. Clean up, cook, eat, clean up, tina time and bed time. Phew.
But the afternoon at the playa makes it all worth while. We arrived at 145pm and it was a sunny day, less windy, a little cooler then last time, and there was actually some sand for Max y madre to play in!!
The olas were still grande and the current strong, so the swimming was limited.
We started our afternoon with our comida and after getting the bbq lit, it was fried egg sandwiches and hot dogs!! Gourmet eh? Hey, any food bbq'd and eaten on the playa tastes better!!
As for the start of our día? Good sleep...early wake up. So much for the talk and the bottle of leche!! Tranquilo time until 615am and then onto Word World videos. Some Nascar after that...hola hola to the little man grabbing my glasses for me, "Poppa no see", and then hopping on Pop to watch some racing!!
Onto desayunos and then a long prowl. Lots and lots of Mexicanos visiting Huatulco...no sabe por que. I do not know of any Mexican holiday, but wow are there a lot of the turismo buses in town.
When we were in Oxxo cooling down, a señora and her 2 niñas (20 year olds) spotted us and were making comment to each other about how cute Max was, and that we were speaking español.
We sat down on a banco in the zocalo and a few minutos later they came and sat across from us. Super friendly peeps from DF, very interested in us, ok...really only Max, and our story. Educated peeps...they knew where Canada was!! And they understood my español and helped me conjugate the verbos.
We said adios y mucho gusto and Max even gave them a wave adios.
Home for the libros, leche y siesta, and Max was lights out muy pronto!! A good siesta, almost 2 hours, and then we got up, packed up and were out the door.
Happy to report that Max was a pleasant pasajero coming and going to the playa. Phew.
So...onto the fotos!!
After some climbing...
Comes some hanging...
And then "the hair" takes a bow!!
And under all that hair...Max Van!!
The parrot better watch out. Max is loading up for one grande beso!!
Looks like a kiss and run situation to me.
The lil'man.
Saw this caja de carton for huevos (box) and am still trying to figure out what the "360 eggs vacations" means.
Ok, that is it.
Have a great lunes y hasta mañana.
Marco, Bexico y Max
