Nothing quite like jean shorts, a white playera and some Cons...the sharpest looking niño in town!!
Buenos tardes!! It is currently 4pm and it is quite dark out there. Lots of thunder from the montañas, a light sprinkle and it has gotten quite a bit cooler since earlier. No complaints with it being cooler...if you can call 30,0 grados cooler!!
The familia finished up their swim and have loaded up the camioneta for a run to the jungla/parque with the bici. Hoping for a tour of the parque, but if it does rain, Rosario's Palacio is just a few minutos away.
They will be back at 530pm, just in time for quesadilla jueves!! With pollo cooked by Max y madre, and with the awesome pico de gallo, made with fresh and free limes from the arbol de limon, and $5 pesos worth of jitomates, cebolla y hot peppers...score!!
As for our día? 6am in the cuna...dry!! Score!!
Videos at 615am and after that we were onto our usual tranquilo time, desayunos and then off for our prowl...with a special destination in mind.
Anoche, Max was pretty excited about having some hotcakes para desayunos, so after our fruta, cereal, yogurt y Gerbers, we were off to Los Portales for boys breakfast out!!
Lots of peeps in town, and we have picked a busy day to eat at Los Portales. But...being known has it's advantages and even though we did not jump the queue, we had our order taken promptly as well as having la cuenta delivered fast.
As for the order of hotcakes y tocino, that took it's sweet time and so Max and I spent our time sipping our bebidas and reading The Cat in the Hat!!
Good eats when they arrived and then Max wheeled his barrow to SCA, where we loaded up on some canned goods as well as huevos. Max wheeled the canned goods to the caja and then put them on the counter...very proud to help out.
I threw the goods into the mochilla and Max managed to wheel the eggs home without breaking one!! I wish I had been so lucky when I was putting them in the fridge...adios to 3. Doph!!
Time for leche, libros and siesta...and awake at 1pm on the nose.
I was off to el gimnasio and then joined in for some of the familia swim...so cool to watch Max swim, yes swim, half way across the alberca all by himself!!
Post swim, upstairs to clean up the casa and get us ready for the PM rutina y la cena.
Pos1t siesta, Max grabbed his paint brush and did some art work, then it was cook time, comida time and off to the pool...and now off with the bici. Go go go to burn off the pre bedtime energia!!
So, you are caught up, onto the fotos.
Ready for the prowl, must ask the boys at the gate for an otra garrafon de agua.
I asked Max if he would ask for the water, and when he does not want to say something due to being timido, his reply is "no think a so". As well as getting this look.
Pit stop in the zocalo.
Muchos estudiantes in the zocalo...not sure why.
Checking out la carta.
And while waiting for the hotcakes, lets see if we can get Max to look into the camera.
Ahhhh....no.
Success!! Of course I had to tell him that I thought someone was stealing his carretilla. Ja ja ja
And then I told Max that I saw an abolida abolida walk by. Abolida is Max's niño word...we have no idea what it means, but he sees them and his favorite is the red one.
Hey Max, how were your hotcakes? Yummmmmm.
Wheeling 30 huevos back to the casa can be stressful...as per the expression on Max's face!!
Ok, that's it mis amigos...off to cook la cena.
Weekend plans? Possibly lunch at playa Mojon on sábado, and then a full race day on domingo, with the Indy 500 in the morning and then the Coca Cola 600 at 5pm. Score!!
Have a great viernes y hasta mañana.
Marco, Bexico y Max
