Buenos tardes!! Currently 4pm and with dark clouds and some heavy showers, Bex y Max have pulled out the paraguas, headed to the camioneta and are off to the Palacio.
Me? Sitting here sweating. ¿Por que? Take a look at this screen shot.
Oh yes, 33,0 grados...feeling like 47,0. And the 90% chance of lluvia came true.
How was the rest of the día? Madre braved it out and took the night shift again...hola hola to a 430am wake up and then up for good at 520am. Oh Max!!
Bubba took over at 645am, Bex back to bed and the boys onto their rutinas.
Good eats, hello, and then off for a super hot and sticky bici tour. Max had suntan lotion dripping off his moustache before we hit the bottom step of our building. Yikes.
Overcast morning, so staying in the shade was not a challenge. We were off looking for some viento...any wind...por favor!!
We found it at the campo and Max raced around the basketball courts, eventually drawing a crowd of
10 year old niños who had been playing futbol. Tons of questions and you could see and hear one of the niños correcting my español, and making sure the boys all knew where Canada was...norte de USA!!
Off to see Polly and then a cool down at Oxxo before heading home to see madre. Leche, libros and a 2 hour siesta!!
Post nap, I headed out to el gimnasio and made it home just as the heavy showers started.
The familia had their comida and then headed to the CP alberca and when I met them there, Max was all excited about the rain.
All you peeps in Vancouver have had enough rain, and here Max is all excited about seeing it!!
A little pan de plátano treat and then we all headed upstairs...time to break out the umbrellas.
And that was our day so far. Lomo cerdo para la cena....con papas puree!!
Onto the fotos.
From ayer, the view above the montañas. Based on those nubes and the loud thunder we heard at 630pm...I probably should have shut the truck windows then. But...aaaaaah no. I waited until the torrential downpour and then ran outside to close them. Oh Bubba.
From today's AM tour.
When we exit the front door, Max is sent to wait by the escalera so we can get organized before heading down the big flight of stairs.
So, this is where our first fotos of today come from.
Lil'man has 2.5 years of hair on his cabeza!!
Sultry Max.
Tonto Max.
The boys were doing a little pruning, and Max decided to check it out.
Deserted until next October.
Max is very good at not going up to perros of whom we do not know their names. This one included.
But he sure knows the name of this gato!!
Tranquilo moments con Polly.
Into the zocalo and the grin on Max's face is due to the fact that he found a palomas nest in the arbols. For whatever reasons, he likes birds nests.
Post comida...someone needs a nap!!
Hello?
On the way to el gimnasio...peeps getting stocked up for Dia de las Madres!!
Hmmm...maybe they should have re-routed the water hose before laying the concreto?
Max giving his madre the aggressive abrazo. Note the tongue!!
Self defence besito.
Max did not want to come out of the alberca, he was just enjoying the lluvia so much.
Buenos noches. 7pm and round one is under way. Max says he is tired...a ploy to get out of the tina maybe?
Mañana? See how the weather is...local playa maybe? Para la cena, we were going to try a restaurante Bex had been to...but they are closed mañana. Doph. So...off to Krystal Rose, our stand by restaurante. Not always the fastest service, but never a complaint about the food!!
Great news!! The clouds have not caused me to lose the signale on the TV!! Race night in the casa!!
Have a great Mother's Day y hasta mañana.
Marco, Bexico y Max
