Buenos noches!! That was the lil'man posing while we were zooming around Santa Cruz.

Currently 805pm, Max is lights out and I can smell Bex taking down the garbage bag full o'Max's panales....p-u. She is on her way for a swim and I will type away.

A little later then normal, so here is the quick recap.

Good sleep...another early (530am) morning. Tranquilo time until 615am...ok, maybe not tranquilo as Max would not lay still...keeping his very tired Poppa awake.

Videos at 615am and then tranquilo time before desayunos. Good breakfast and then we loaded up the bici into the camioneta verde, with a list of errands to run.

First stop was the hospital. Only one set of padres in line ahead of us....score!! Doph...no vacunas available until 26 de mayo. But the nurses were friendly and always happy to see Max.

We left the camioneta and walked 5 minutes to a Fonatur oficina, where we waited in line to pay our agua bill. $200 pesos for 2 meses...not bad. And of course, the hombre in front of us turned around and said "hola Max". Of course he did.

Back to the camioneta and then onto Santa Cruz. A good bici tour from where we park the truck, to the INM ofcina.

A short wait, but the seguridad was happy to see us and catch up on how Max has been doing. Max was super well behaved, allowing me to talk to the INM señorita, while he kept busy with the security guard and the couches.

And how was the stack of paperwork? Not a thing missing!! I even brought a phone bill as I recall last year they wanted a copy of one, but it was not on the list of paperwork to bring in. Score.

So what do you need to renew Max's tarjeta?

-an online form filled out and submitted and a copy brought with you
-a basic form filled out
-copy of pasaporte
-copies of Bex y Bubba pasaportes
-Max's INM card
-copies of Bex y Bubba INM cards
-phone bill
-a letter, en español, requesting a renewal of the card
-a copy of your bank account
-a letter translating the statement
-copies of your last 3 banking statements
-one letter per month, en español, translating the statements
-fotos

And then they print out a receipt that you need to take to a banco and pay...$3200 pesos for one year. Ouch.

Max and I toured to the bank, about 10 minutos away, waited 10 minutos in line and then another 10 minutos at the caja (¿por que?) and after paying the bill, back we went with receipt in hand.

No wait at INM and Max hung out with the INM hombre, who seems to know us...Max, and I finished up the paperwork. If everything checks out, Max will get his new card in a week or so. Score!!

Running behind schedule, and with Max overdue for leche, libros y siesta, we boogied home. Hola hola to madre and less then 30 minutos later...Max was lights out. He was pooped!!

A good siesta, almost 2 hours, and then we gobbled down some comida and were off to playa Mojon. Oh, the water was even higher today!! And the olas bigger, stronger and wackier.

But we had a fun time floating and crashing the olas, and Bex y Max had a fun time hanging out in front of the "hotel" playing around.

We managed to get the BBQ lit in the hurricane winds, had some gourmet hot dawgs...ja ja ja...and then cleaned up, packed up and headed home.

Max was a great niñõ coming and going...making the trip waaaaay pleasant!!

Home for the go go go rutina, and after 30 minutos con madre y 35 con padre, Max was lights out again. Phew!!

That was the día...onto the fotos.

No walking the bici to the truck, Max wanted to ride it there.

Poppa!!

El Gato went that way!!

And then Max reflects on whether or not he should have chased him. Oh Max!!

From the waiting room at the hospital, and no two expressions are the same!!

Hey Max...we are going THIS way!! The lil'explorer had decided to find his own way to the INM oficina...maybe he has his madre's sense of direction? Ja ja ja

Ok, you are all caught up.

Viernes already? Looks like a regular Friday for us, race sábado and then a local playa on domingo, followed by dinner out to celebrate Mother's Day.

Hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
