Why hello to you too.
Buenos tardes!! Who are you and what have you done with our lil'man? That was the question I asked the niño who woke up in his cuna at 630am!! Super score!!
Asleep before 8pm, one wake up and a little bit of stirring during the noche, a 5am wake up that was quelled with some maños over the cuna rail...and a dry cuna at 630? You don't get much better then that mis amigos!!
Short video session, tranquilo time, desayunos and then onto one very long and hot bici tour. Off to Isssste to grab some Nescafe Decaf Cafe...sabor intenso, for madre, and then back towards centro to grab some piña for the boys.
We saw the piña ayer and thought it would be fun to sit in the sombra and have a snack. We have not seen our usual amigo, who wheels by on his triciclo and sells us the fruta, so for $10 pesos (half what our amigo charges) we grabbed a container and went to the escuela.
Doph...the piña was fresh and the parts that were not core were juicy, but waaaaay too much core. Max had a nibble of core and a "no like" was followed by a spit out into mi maño. Doph.
But we found enough good piña and had a chillaxing time. Cleaned up and headed off to the zocalo for a tour and then home for leche, libros y siesta!!
Max is making such an effort at saying hola or waving at peeps...even though it is apparent that he is timido to do so. He is leaving so many peeps with smiles on their faces!!
A long siesta!! I headed off to see if I was having chelas con mi amigo Tony (nope) and then hit the gym before returning to join in on yes another familia swim in the CP alberca.
The familia baked some Bisquik bisquits, ate 1/3 of them and then hit the pool.
Good swim and Max is now doing cannon-balls off the side of the pool, going all the way under water, surfacing and then treading water...all on his own!! After personally not passing beginners swimming 8 times, I am thrilled to see how well he does in the agua. Good work Max y madre...swim coach!!
Currently 520pm and the familia is out at a palacio and will be back at 545pm in time for chuletas de cerdo.
So...onto the fotos!!
Pre-tour pose...with a lil'bed head action this morning.
Note the shirt...another shirt that had the sleeves cut off. Our tailor must think we are nuts.
Ask to see muscles, and this is the pose you get.
Oh, I know what is coming next.
Oh yes, sexy legs!!
Beware of the "hulk out".
You were warned.
Bici'd up and we pit stop at the gate so Max can examine, for the 100th time, the scrape on his hand.
Time to ensure Poppa knows he fell in the jungla.
And Poppa being the kind hearted hombre that he is, ensures Max knows that Poppa is aware.
Having gotten a head of Poppa, Max turned around and came back.
School yard set up. Piña...not such a good deal, gel, cuchillo y agua. We dropped a piece of piña and decided to leave it for the palomas...no, it was not basura. And when we get home and after Max has told madre about the beautiful butterfly he saw, what does he tell her? Poppa dropped a piece of piña!!
Casco off so Max can stay cool while he runs around...chasing the palomas.
Max saw our reflection in the hub of this autobuses llanta, and after pointing to "Max y Poppa", he recalled the foto from ayer, asked that I take a foto.
Esta noche...race night!! Mañana...off to playa Mojon for lunch and then back to the condo for la cena.
Have a great domingo y hasta mañana.
Marco, Bexico y Max
