The lil'man sporting some tape to keep another scrape, yes another one, covered.

Buenos noches!! 710pm and round 1 is under way...buen suerte. Actually...we have been having some success using a wide hair band as sleep goggles for the lil'man. It slows him down and he can focus on falling asleep vs what is going on around him.

The day? A good sleep and a 545am wake up. Tranquilo time until video time and then onto videos. More tranquilo time at 7am and then onto pan frances sábado!!

Not sure where the morning went, but it was almost 930am by the time we headed out for our tour. Due to last night's lluvia, it was not as hot as usual....phew. But that didn't mean we didn't come home and have a session in the CP alberca!! Max tread water and did a little swimming around his Poppa, who kept his feet cool...and was ready to help out the lil'man if need be!!

Upstairs for leche, libros and the siesta...almost 2 hours today!!

Once we were awake, time to pack up, load up and head to the playa. Sunny when we left and overcast when we arrived. We even had some very light sprinkles while we were there. No complaints as it was nice and cool!!

Fired up the BBQ and cooked up the gorilla cheese and then some salchichas...more gourmet cooking!!

We had some sand in front of our lot, so the familia did some digging and building, and then we were all off for a playa prowl.

Grande olas and more wicked currents, so we stayed out of the water...doph. Oh well, we have the CP alberca and playa Santa Cruz is generally tranquilo.

Loaded up at 430pm and headed home for the usual post-Mojon rutina. Clean up, cook, clean up again, tina time and then onto bedtime. Throw in a FT con Oma y Opa as they are headed on a trip...buen viaje!!

And ta-da...that was our sábado.

So onto the fotos!!

After a good amount of rain last night, we had some great night time temperatures of 26,6 grados, a cool morning and some puffy nubes. Looks like a great day for gorilla cheese sandwiches at playa Mojon!!

The banister series. Too many expressions for me to choose from...so you get to see them all.

As we were about to start our tour, we heard some miau'ing coming from the condos next door. We found momma gato y dos niños.

We put on our casco, headed out the CP gates and went next door looking for the cats and found out they had gone into someones condo. An hombre came out and after explaining what we were doing, he invited us in to say hola to the kittens!! Muy amable this hombre, eh?

Pit stop at the mall to see if the dentista o zapateria were open...ahhhh no. So, test drive the carros instead.

Paloma nest in the zocalo. Max loves paloma nests!!

Check out that sonrisa!!

Señor Muy Curio just checking out the peeps.

Checking out Poppa's camera.

We came upon a moto blocking the sidewalk and Max wheeled around it. He stopped and told me "Max drive moto" and I asked when and his response was "5 months".

And with a grin on his face, we were off to soak our pies (Max swam) in the CP alberca.

Ayer, the play group went swanky and they all met at a development called Montecito, and here are some fotos.

Aguaman doing his laps.

Tiburon Max on the prowl...scoping out bikinis I was told!! Oh Max!!

Hmmmm...why don't we build one of these albercas at playa Mojon?

All that swimming and Max has worked up a thirst. Good thing Mika has prepared some bebidas!!

Service with a smile.

Baño?

Misc...found this satellite image on the Montecito website and thought it might give peeps better idea as to where Huatulco is.

Or maybe not? Ja ja ja

Hola hola...the 830pm update? Max was lights out after 35 minutos con su Poppa. Score!!

Lots of thunder, lightning and mas lluvia!! And can you say brrrrrr? It is a balmy 26,5 grados right now!!

Ok mis amigos, you are all caught up. Mañana? The usual rutinas with a race thrown in for good measures!! It is quesadilla domingo with fresh made pico de gallo....yummy!!

Have a great domingo y hasta mañana.

Buenos tardes.

Hold onto to your hats...there are no fotos today!!

Just a quick note to say hola hola and to let you know all is well here in Huatulco. Currently 520pm and the familia is at another, yes another, play date and will be home in 30 minutos so they can chow down on some Bubba burgers!!

A good sleep, 545am wake up and then onto the usual AM rutinas. Soriana viernes so there was no prowl or tour, but the boys did run a bunch of errands. Recycling, Nissan, Sorianas and then some hole in the wall automotive supply store so we could grab some aceite for the camioneta verde.

Home for leche, libros and the 90 minuto siesta.

I was off to gym and then home to putter and clean up, while the familia had their comida and then headed out.

And that has been our day.

The weekend? Mañana we have gorilla cheese sandwiches on the lunch menu for playa Mojon and then hola hola to race domingo!! We have a few documentaries downloaded, so it might also be date night movie night. Score!!!

Buen fin de semana y hasta mañana.

The lil'man does not always look so little. Today he said to me "Max, Poppa's lil'man"!!

Buenos tardes!! Almost 5pm and the familia is on another play date. The lil'man gets a lot of invitations!!

We had some lluvia last night, and that left us with a cool and fresco evening...and when el sol came out in the morning...the humido came out as well. Yikes.

As for the rest of the day...Bex had night duty and had a great sleep with the lil'man...I mean they slept together and until 610am. Oh madre!!

Bubba had the gift of a 7am sleep in and then took over so the boys could start their morning. Bex hit the sack the boys had some tranquilo time, the huge desayunos and then a long prowl around town.

Back to the casa to soak our feet, and since Max can pretty much swim now, I let him tread water right next to me. I was prepared to jump in if need be, and we also had a set of abuelos having a morning soak, so we were covered.

Max LOVES the pool, but was ready for leche y libros con su madre, so off we went.

A good siesta and I managed some shut eye with the lil'guy...in my arms!! Score!!

Post siesta the familia did some baking, ate their comida, had a swim in the CP alberca and aftre clean up, jumped on the bici and are at playa Santa Cruz and the zocalo there.

I took the camioneta to el gimnasio and then went up to see Tony, mi mecanico. I had some video y audio of the engine noise, taken yesterday from our trip to playa Mojon.

I showed it to him and he thinks I need an engine clean as he feels the rocker arms are what is making the noise, as it comes and goes.

Mañana, Max and I will pick up all the items needed and then next week I will swing by and have Tony do the work. If it does not work...it will be time to think about taking the engine apart. Yikes. Stay tuned.

Headed home and checked in with the familia and then after some puttering around and clean up...here I am updating all of you.

Onto the fotos and then it is time to start cooking the camarones para la cena.

Pre-prowl poses with the arbol.

Having spotted his madre...you know what is coming next. Besos!!

What you lookin at? That's mi madre I am blowing besitos to!!

We took a Cheerio y pasa pit stop and it was a perfect time to take some fotos.

Almost as dangerous as the tongue...the cheeky grin!!

Headed into el sol...time for the bandana y lentes.

Oh this could take some time!!

Max "Rocky" Van, chasing el gallo y la gallina.

After seeing the foto in yesterday's blog update, there were so many requests for another, so here it is.

That would be Max about to touch more paloma poo poo. Oh Max!!

And I thought carrying my mochilla was hot.

It was hot!! So off to Oxxo to cool down.

And it looks like we also caught up on this month's issue of H. Oh Max!!

And from ayer, playa Mojon.

A little more sand in front of our lot.

Only 2 rings showing...but a lot of agua too. Yikes.

Lots of olas grande, and coming from multiple directions.

From the eastern headlands, some wacky olas.

Causing a pond in front of Terry's casa. Only mayo...it looks like they did well, building the new retaining wall...they will need it!!

I rushed to take this foto before Max picked all the empty shells off the palapa. Oh Max!!

Ok, that's it.

Have a great viernes y hasta mañana.
