Buenos noches!!
Currently 815pm and as I
watch the News, Max is asleep in his cuna and I am taking a risk by letting
madre continue to sleep too!!
I had the lil’hombre last
night, but madre could not fall asleep…doph. So she is pooped and deserves the
cat nap.
Max and I had a fairly
successful night. Until around 430am, he slept well in the cuna, needing some
comforting only a few times. But come 430am, he needed a longer hug and as that
was happening…padre fell asleep with the lil’guy in his arms. Ja ja ja
So there we were, a little
male bonding time, and we both slept in until 720am!! That is 90 minutes longer
then the past few days!!
We had a great AM rutina
and managed to get out for our walk before the nap happened.
Here are some kiosko play
group fotos.
The usual gang.
A little wrassling when the nína decided to gather up all the jugetes (none of them belonged to her) and walk away.
Max was left toy less when all of a sudden both niñas showered him with the toys. Check out the dazed "what the heck" look on Max's face.
He is realizing he has a power over these niñas!! Oh oh...watch out mundo!!
Hola to a ton of peeps as
we headed home and then it was nap time. Still the best part of my day…the
lil’guy draped across my chest, fast asleep!!
Madre takes over
post-siesta and I readied myself for the gym.
Max headed out with madre
for a walk and we are set up with a cita con the pediatra. Now we need to get
Max to the hospital for his next set of vacunas.
Me? A good session at the
gym…loving the waaaay cooler temperatures!! On the way to the gym I stopped off
at the tiangus to buy Max a few more t-shirts…$50 pesos for 2….score!!
Headed home as we knew it
was a playa day. How do we decide that? Weather (duh), timing of the 2nd
siesta and what we are having for la cena. If it is an easier dinner (chorizo
quesadillas), we are off to the playa. An involved dinner…pool time.
Nice time at the playa and
on the way, we tried to pay the water bill again. No go…the blockade is still
up.
Mostly shade by the time
we hit the beach and Max bolts straight for the water. We met a few peeps and
were really thankful to get some advice from a foreigner...you son has red
hair, his skin will burn in the sun.
Phew, thank goodness we
met him or who knows what we would have done. Wonder what makes peeps need to
give out advice?
Here are the playa fotos.
I'm looking at Max, he is looking at the lil'brown niño and the lil'niño is looking at the big white guy.
Max y madre.
So we had the underwater camera and off I went. The water was silty and sucio on top, but I did get these two fotos. Anyone know what this 3 foot long creature is?
Home, a good dinner and
early tina…and even managed a FT with tío Terry…until we lost the connection.
9pm and madre woke up and
Max has been restless the last hour. Doph. Stay tuned.
The rest of the fotos.
Transito...just a Tamarindo in the new uniform.
Not sure what they were, but he was selling them.
.5m x .5m sandbox.
As soon as Max will wear his casco, and keep it on, he can go for bike rides con madre. We are getting close.
Not sure why he is pulling his parabolics...oh Max.
Misc Max factoid? He does
not like oranges or OJ…yet. So far, this is the only food I know that he does
not like…he is a very good eater!!
Our fin de semana plans?
Nothing written in stone…except the race, which is on domingo!! Oh, and
probably lomo domingo as well.
The Mojon lot y palapa will
be up and running mid-week, so we all look forward to getting out there again
as well.
Have a great weekend!!
Marco, Bexico y Max
