Buenos noches and congrats to BK for becoming the 2012 Nascar Champion!!

A good race, not too exciting, but nice to watch. I actually watched the first 200 laps and then PVR’s the last 60 so I could go out for a walk con mi familia.

So I would not spoil the outcome, I had to avoid the internet until I could watch the last 60 laps after la cena.

(FYI...spell check is out of order...sorry for any spelling mistakes.)

As for the rest of the day…a tranquilo domingo. Max y madre were up early and I took over at 7am. We are making slow progress with Max and his cuna…stay tuned.

A good AM rutina and an early walk meant few of Max’s amigos were out…but a ton of Chilangos are in town!!

Looooong nap with the lil’guy and then madre took over. They spent the whole day together which included a few walks, some comida, the world famoso sink bath and of course the afternoon siesta.

Me? After the nap, I made another Che run as yesterday I broke the eggs while at the caja and there was no way I was waiting to buy more…it was nuts in there.

So I grabbed a few items, stopped in at Isssste for a few I could not find at Che and found that both Isssste and the Super Precio next door, both look like they are barley hanging on. Bare shelves is one thing, but removing shelves is another.

If they go, there will not be very much competition for groceries in this town…doph.

And after the grocery run, home for the race and then the familia walk.

Here are the fotos from the walk.

Pit stop at Max's favorite parque. For Max, it is all about going up the slide.

Madre seems to enjoy going down the slide.

Did I say this was Max's favorite parque? Looking at madre's expressions, it might be HER favorite parque!!

And then some amigas stopped by. This senorita always says hola to Max when she sees him.

Hola. The name is Van...Max Van.

Padre breaking a sweat with an extra 11 kilos on his back.

But loving it!!

Pit stop outside the complex...the lil'guy likes flowers!!!

Pretty easy night…burgers and then the PM rutina, which included a FT con Max’s abuelos.

Currently 930pm and Bex is hard at work, Max is asleep and I have an ojo on the monitor and one on the football game.

Health? I am on day 8 of this gripe and am definitely on the mend. Madre is so-so…sore throat still and some sneezing. Max has a runny nose and the odd cough…sounds a little congested as well but madre has layered on the Vicks rub.

Not sure where he learned this, but hold a Kleenex to Max’s nose, and he blows out.

Talking about the smart niño, ask him “¿tu gusta bailar?”…do you like to dance?...and he will bob up and down. Max is already bilingual!!

Misc

Curious where we came up with the name Max? I had been reading a James Patterson novel, When the Wind Blows, and one of the characters is named Max.

Not knowing if we were having a niño o niña, we had chosen 2 names for boys and 2 for girls. But after he was born and we saw him for the first time, we both knew he was a Max and ta-da.

Mañana? Might be a gym day for the first time in a week!! Stay tuned. I also need to get on this satellite internet so we can figure out the Mojon project.

Misc fotos.

Max y padre playing in the grass...who's that Max? Madre!!

Max, iPod genius.

Have a great lunes!!

Marco, Bexico y Max
