Hola mis amigos!!

What a humbling adventure being a padre has become. You thought I felt bad when the lil’guy fell down and scraped his face…ending up looking like Freddy Kruger for a week?

Well now Max has a cold and you know who he caught that from? His loving padre…doph.

After the fall, he cried for 20 seconds and then looked tough for a week. With this cold, he is coughing and sounds sad…making his padre feel baaaaaad.

Top it all off? Madre has the cold too. Oh this is one casa you don’t want to visit right now. I am surprised Gertrude our cleaner stuck it out today and actually cleaned!!

So it has been an eventful day and even though I am on the mend, I have not shaken this cough. Ugh. More meds and another night of sleep and we will see how I feel. If not better by viernes…hola to Dr. Carillo!!

A blur of a day…less time napping, but still lots of time just relaxing and trying to recuperate.

I had the AM shift and Max and I managed t get our walk in, while keeping him away from too much sun. As a matter of fact, the two of us had 2 walks and the second one involved the stroller and a jaunt to Che.

Bad call. Upon our return, Max and padre were pooped and hot.

Dinner was out tonight and even though Los Gallos has GREAT sopa…we are 0 for 2 on their other entrees. We will not be going back for their eats…sticking to Los Portales next time.

Even with gripe, Max was a trooper during la cena and as I carried him home on my shoulders, we played a little peek a boo con madre and the lil’guy just laughed and giggled so hard. His laugh is a heart melter…brings big smiles to his parents!!

Misc

We have a super clean house….loving miercoles as there is no breaking down the PP and no mopping!!

As well…FT is back up and running. Did a little online search and found a possible solution and ta-da…success. Just in time as Max was missing his abuelos!!

10pm…time to turn off the addicting Duck Dynasty and call it a day.

Fotos will return…I promise. Ya ya…sham wow blog.

Hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
