Buenos noches!!

New resolution…no more talking about Max’s sleep patterns and habits until we have him falling asleep on his own, being able to soothe himself and sleeping through the night. Stay tuned.

Do you want to hear about me taking over Max watch at 4am? And then the two of us getting up at 630am? No? Ok, then we will move on.

Slooooow AM rutina but we both enjoyed our pan frances and had a GREAT walk. No regular walk today as we skipped the zocalo y kiosko, and headed to the campo (futbol pitch) to see if we could watch some futbol o basketball.

Here are some fotos from the walk.

The cutest niño in Huatulco is excited to go out for his walk!!

Pit stop at the shop where they hand weave curtains, bedspreads and material for clothing.

There was a lil'niña inside this tienda and Max was saying hola.

And as you can tell by the look on his face, she disappeared.

At the campo, there were both futbol y basketball games happening, but Max was more interested in the basketball, a game between some niños who looked 6 or 7 years old but turned out to be 8. Small Mexicans compared to Max!!

We headed to the concrete stands, but Max wanted to be on the main piso…a little dangerous as the game was active.

But as luck would have it, the whistle blew and there was going to be a short break between quarters.

So off Max went, running across the court. As he gets to mid-court, he stops, looks around and then screams “hola” to everyone. All I hear is laughter from the peeps watching from the stands and then I see a senora sitting on the players bench and she is waving Max over.

Now Max is not a timido niño, so off he went to see what this senora wanted.

Just as he gets there, the game starts and the senora scooped him up and he settled in to watch the game.

Moments later, a group of niñas that were watching from the stands, came down to see the lil’guy. They fell in love and everyone wanted to pick him up, even though some of them looked pretty light weighted themselves.

But with my help, everyone received a turn and there were smiles all around. And when we left, they gave both of us a piece of candy as a thank you. Max waved adios and we were on our way.

Here are the fotos.

Home for leche y siesta and when we awoke, madre took over. Me? Another siesta on the couch and then puttered around before heading out to el gimnasio.

A few fotos from that walk.

The hombre is trying to sell watches to a hombre who is cooking pollo.

Hamacas y mas hamacas.

Good workout and then headed home to watch some Nationwide racing (the big race is mañana) while the familia had their siesta…which turned out to be a much needed 2 hours!!

Once awake, snack time for the two of them and then time for the alberca. Ayer, I was a little unhappy with the water quality at Santa Cruz, so that is why we alberca’d it instead.

Relaxing time…minus the dumb a** senora who smokes IN the pool. I regress….

After the pool, tiempo para la cena!! Madre had a leftover quesadilla and padre whipped up a kind of shepherd’s pie…delicious….even if someone said it tasted like airplane food and then quickly added…I love airplane food. Ja ja ja

A good PM rutina and that is where I end the update.

1025pm and madre is hard at work, you know who is sleeping and as I finish this update, I have a History Channel special on the tube.

The rest of the fotos.

Seeing Kow leaned over, Max is showing deep concern for his well being.

Easy to get into this tub.

Not so easy to get out of.

Mañana? The race and we will see what else happens.

Have a great domingo.

Marco, Bexico y Max
