Hola to all!!
What a great day…but not much to report on.
Here is the solo photo for the day.
It is from the “what are they selling in the parque” series. These are chairs for ninos, meant as regalos por Dia de Reyes.
Did a workout at the gimnasio and there was not a soul to be found. I had the place to myself.
Came home and Bexico and I headed to Mojon. There was no one to wave us through Copalita, so we just kept going.
As for Mojon, the waves were HUGE…but not the best for surfing. Not an expert, but it was too tough/rough to get out to the better waves, and even then, they were not breaking the appropriate way.
But…they were outstanding boogie board olas…again. Both Bexico and I had a blast, including some 150 foot rides!!
Terry and familia were having their last stroll on Mojon, headed home manana.
Coming back through Copalita we were stopped and the soldier asked us if we spoke Espanol. We said poco and another soldier looked at us, and with a big smile and a deep voice, asked us “where are you going?” in perfect Ingles. He was pretty proud to use the language and we told him he did a good job.
We answered in Espanol and he waved us on while saying “nice trip”, again in Espanol. Some of our best conversations are now with the soldiers!! Lol
Stopped at Che as we needed some ingredients for our primero attempt at making my famous meatballs here in Mexico.
Dinner tonight was home made pizza, courtesy of Bexico. Great with the pepperoni y chorizo ahumado….smoked chorizo.
Manana? Not sure yet…but trust us…we are not bored!!
Hopefully more photos manana.
Hasta luego
