Hola from Whistler!!
We made it here safe and sound and it looks like it will be a great 5 days, starting with 30cm of fresh powder that is to fall manana!!
Today? Gimnasio, pack up, 4th Ave for some shopping, to our locker for our boards and then up to Whistler.

This is Robson Street.
BC Place had its Teflon roof removed and 4 months ago only 2 of these giant support arms, for the new roof, had been installed.
We flew all this way and are still thrilled to see we are eating produce from home.
Great session at the gym…enough said.
4th Ave led us to a new boarding coat for me!! I will use it 5 days out of the next 365…but the old one I had was 10 years done. And now Bexico wants to wear it!!
We also ran into a group of ol (and old…lol) MS peeps at Romer’s. Not going to live in the past (especially if you have a palapa like we do…in the present), but there sure were some good times back then.
Also bought some new boarding gloves…time for the duct taped ones to go.
The drive to Whistler is beautiful and sooo much faster with the improvements. The roads were fine with a bit (hee3) of slush past Squamish.
The condo we rented is great…central to everything. Melon will arrive tomorrow and we will meet him on the hill as Bexico and I are going to have a few runs first.
Manana? Other then the great boarding will also be carne Viernes as we haven’t had a big steak in months!! They have some great meat in Huatulco, we just haven’t figured out where to BBQ it yet. We hear there are BBQs on our compound grounds…will have to research this upon our return.
Misc…
Bought more eggs. Hope the cleaner at the Robson Suites enjoys them. And if anyone has seen the small container of parmesan cheese we bought at the stupid store…please let us know. Lol
La cena was pasta as we carb up for manana, and we just finished watching a DVD with Renee Z, that was filmed all in Vancouver.
Hope to have some boarding photos over the next few days, but the weather needs to cooperate.
