Day three of snowboarding at Whistler never occurred.
We awoke to see pouring rain in the village and the online weather report stated that it was wet to the top of the main gondola. That meant we would have been soaked by the time we made it up to the top. No thank you.
So, we had some desayunos and went back to sleep!!! Lol
We have been go go go since we arrived, so the extra sleep was deserved and welcomed.
We got up and watched the Hawks get their butts kicked and then went for a walk. It was a light drizzle in the village, but tons of peeps were out because they were not on the hill, and because of the MLK holiday in the USA. Legal age to drink in USA is 21, only 19 here…enough said?
Here are the walk around photos.
Bexico kissing the Buddha (not mine)
Bexico thinking either “how do I fit into these?” or “maybe we need a nino surfer in the family”
Right after buying a small slice of Oreo cookie fudge, we saw these great animals.
And this huge animal getting his hug on.
We saw these two peeps coming off the mountain.
And then stopping at IGA for some chippers.
We came home and watched the end of the Patriots/Jets game and then Bexico had a Skype with her madre y padre.
Then we had some home made chili for la cena.
Ahora? Another DVD and not to mention….M&M Domingo!!
Tomorrow the freezing level is supposed to drop and the precipitation diminishing, so we should have a great day of boarding. The injuries from ayer are much better...not 100% but for great powder, I will ride with the discomfort.
Busy week ahead…dinner with mi hermano and one of mi hermanas, lunch with M&P and then some blackjack and a few cervezas with Melon and buds. And then we fly home on Jueves, arriving Mex City early morning Viernes and into Hux by 940am.
That’s all for now.
Hasta luego.
