Hola hola mis amigos!!

Currently 1210pm and with Max fast asleep next to me, I am scratching my head trying to figure this sleep stuff out. Let's see...we had one of the best bed times in a long time, with Max falling asleep on his own, in his cuna at 815pm.

Earlier sleep but he then wakes up 3 times during the noche. Quick wake ups but still not sleeping through the noche.

It was a warmer night and the air con was set to go off at 3am and by 524am, it was warm in his recamara and he was awake. Oh no...we are not having this!! Air con goes back on and at 530am, Max is fast asleep in his Poppa's arms.

I was awoken by these words "long sleep Poppa" and was happy to see it was 630am. Score!!

Leche y videos and a quick snooze for Poppa, and then at 710am, onto our morning rutinas.

Before I jot down the notes from the rest of the day, the point about me trying to figure out the sleep stuff is that Max normally has his siesta around 1115am and is awake at 1245pm or 1pm. But due to the longer sleep in, he could not fall asleep until almost noon. That means if he sleeps the usual 90 minutos, we won't be on the road to playa Mojon until almost 2pm.

You win with the earlier sleep and the 630am wake up, you lose with the 3 wake ups during the  noche, the 12 noon siesta and possibly the shorter afternoon at the playa. Can we not have it all? Ja ja ja

Ok, as for the rest of the morning...tranquilo time in the palacio, huge desayunos, a super fun bici tour and then I watched Max spend 20 minutos or so in the CP alberca. Lots of swimming, floating and diving.

Upstairs for the leche y libros and that was the morning. So...onto the many fotos. Enjoy.

Pre-tour poses with some wacky Maxo Waxo facial expressions!!

All I asked was that he sit up straight and smile. Look what he gives me...oh muy tonto Max!!

Max is so Max. He sees the sorpresa I promised him and is so happy and eager to get off his bici and go for a "stand on it", but I get only one foto with a smile. Oh Max.

Max wants to stand on/in the tractor (as he calls it), Max gets to stand on/in the tractor.

A few days ago, I had spotted the front end loader while on my way home from el gimnasio, and I figured it would make the lil'man happy...success!!

The crew are getting locked and loaded. Today they will be walking around Huatulco trying to sell pillows and blankets.

While this hombre had steering wheel covers and floor mats galore.

It didn't work...but I thought if he would chase some more palomas, he would burn off some energy and fall asleep quick at siesta time.

 Not quite a Speedo....but Geronimo!!

Chez lounging Max.

He looks very comfortable in the agua, sí?

Ok...a little more zzz for the lil'man and we are off to the playa. I will finish this off esta noche.

Hasta pronto.

Buenos tardes!! Currently 725pm and libros y leche are occurring as I type and then onto 15 minutos of meditation musica before The Niño Whisperer takes over.

Fotos mañana, but what an interesting and fun afternoon and evening we have had.

Shorter siesta...good that we get to Mojon earlier? We packed up and loaded up and shut the windows in the condo. ¿Por que? Porque we saw some very dark clouds rolling in.

And the moment we left the CP parking lot...torrential downpour. Yikes. The plan was playa Mojon and if it was still pouring, we would eat our comida, have a swim in the alberca and then head home.

And ta-da...half way to the playa el sol came out and we had a mainly hot and sunny time on the beach.

Off to Roman's so the familia could swim and Roman and I had a few chelas and chatted it up. The familia enjoyed the 1/2 size Olímpico alberca and after we were done, into the camioneta verde we went and arrived home at 530pm.

Some clean up and with Max helping his Poppa, we cooked up the camarones y arroz and then had a super yummy dinner. A FT con Oma y Opa, cocina clean up by Bex (gracias), and then onto tina time.

A HUGE downpour just rolled through centro...adios to the satellite signale and the race. Argh. But it looks like the signal is coming in and then going away, so I might have something to watch after all.

Onto bed time and you are caught up.

Mañana...nothing out of the ordinary is planned.

Have a great domingo y hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
