Ah yes, vida es buena!!

Buenos tardes mis amigos. A little bit cooler out there today...phew. I was quite surprised that after the large rainfall we had last night, it did not really cool us down that much over night.

The noche? Yikes is all I can say. Bex had the first 30 minutos of bed time, I had the next 60 and when I went into the bedroom to check on them (ok, I knew she was asleep), another hour had gone by.

I suspect Bex only needed another 15-20 minutos, and then fell asleep doing manos over the cuna rail. As for why max could not sleep, it can only be summed up by what he told us..."I am soooo sad...I cannot sleep".

As for the rest of the night, the boys had a pretty good noche. A few wake ups and then up for good at 545am. The usual rutinas for us, including another grande desayunos.

Happy to report that Max's health is almost back to normal. No coughing over night, no snot this morning and only a few hacks during desayunos. I wish I was so lucky as I still have lots of hacking and a faucet for a nose. Oh well...we move on.

Off for a long bici tour and the boys had a blast. Ok, Max had more of a blast as he was the one riding through all of the puddles in front of the escuela. As the tour wound down, we saw a bunch of amigos and all would ask about how Max became so dirty and I would tell them it was due to the charcos en frente de la escuela.

And when we get home, Max excitedly tells his madre that he fell in the puddles "en frente de escuela". He is listening to everything and understanding more and more. After ordering 600 gramos of pollo at Poopie Loopie, I hear this little voice repeating "600 gramos pollo" over and over. Hilarious.

Home for the leche, libros and siesta and due to the 2 hour siestas Max has been taking, we tried a 1115am sleep time, thinking he will be up at 115am and that should help us get him to sleep easier esta noche. Of course today he decides 90 minutos is all he needs!!

That should really help us get him to sleep tonight, now we just focus on keeping him tranquilo during la cena and tina time. Buen suerte!!

Post siesta I was off to el gimnasio and the familia cooked up some pollo, ate their comida and headed off for a swim in the CP alberca.

When I came home from el gimnasio, I joined them for a dip and was wowed seeing Max is now able to swim underwater and touch the bottom of the alberca...all by himself!! He had his gafas on, I put on the other pair and submerged to watch the lil'swimmer's latest accomplishment. So cool!!

I headed upstairs for some tranquilo time and shortly after, the familia followed. Madre got ready for the trip to Rosario's Palacio...hola hola to play group time!! Max and read a book together and after a besito, off they went.

Dinner in 45 minutos...onto the fotos.

This happens if you fall asleep at 845pm and wake up at 545am!!

But then ask for a smile, and you get this.

Cruising!!

The "I'm waiting for you Poppa" look.

Off to the escuela, but before we get going, time to agua up.

And if Max looks into the lens....

Wish this paloma good luck...Max is on it's trail.

Warp speed.

Another spill. We talked about not turning the handle bars during a run through the puddles...and that worked the first 10 times. Attempt #11...let's see if I can make a sharp left turn....yikes. He fell, he lay there for a minute, got up, looked at his manos, climbed back on the bici and came over to me.

He looks pretty proud of the results.

A few fotos from the walk to/from el gimnasio.

Street signs in Huatulco? Muy raro. Better yet, these were all installed last week on one corner, dug up and moved to the opposite side of the calles.

And if you drive down the calle from this direction, good luck on knowing where you are!! Viva Mexico!!

Today's lección de española, as seen on the outside of a tienda.

Hoping you don't do any shopping there soon!!

I came home from el gimnasio and found this pool abrazo happening.

After I was spotted...smiles all around!!

Buenos noches. Currently 9pm and the biggest thunder and lightning storm we have ever experienced, has just passed through. Hoping the satellite signale returns soon!! Ja ja ja

And Max? Asleep after an hour with his padres, and slept right through the storm. Doph...more rain is coming down. At least it is nice and cool!!

As for the rest of the día? The familia had fun at the Palacio and then came home for some good eats. The usual clean up and tina time and then it was off to bed time. All good.

You are all caught up. Mañana? Che martes...hello!!

Hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
