Buenos tardes and welcome to my blog!!

Hola hola. Currently 345pm the viento has picked up and the nube obscura have rolled in. Perfect weather for the familia who is currently at playa Entrega. They will be back at 530pm for oh so yummy pollo quesadillas!!

The día? All good here in Huatulco...I even managed to have some success with TD bank when I called them about the missing $$ from my account.

But after calling me Mr. Van....der....lee...den...the senorita still had to remind me that this should be resolved in 55 business days...not the 50 I had thought. Oh well.

I had all the info ready, cajero # etc, but she told me they have all that on file and will take it from here. Check back on Sept 11 as that is 55 business days from today!!

Hey...did I mention I am watching last night's episode of Duck Dynasty while typing this? Saving Bex the angst of having to listen to the show while she works hard in her oficina tonight!! Ja ja ja

OK, after 2 wake ups, one dream induced for sure, Max was up for good at 555am. Oh so close to the magic 6am hour!! The days of Max hanging out in his cuna while Poppa sleeps...seem to be over.

Videos at 615am, "I am done" at 630am, more videos at 631am and then "Poppa wake up" at 645am, more videos at 646am and then "Poppaaaaaaaa" at 7am. Off to get the Palacio set up and then we were onto tranquilo time, the huge desayunos and a nice prowl. And we ended the boys morning with a swim in the CP alberca.

I packed our shorts y gafas and off we went...fotos to follow.

After lots of swimming, upstairs we went for leche, libros and the 90 minuto siesta. While madre took care of getting the lil'man to sleep (gracias madre), Bubba whipped up some fresh pico de gallo for tonight's cena.

Post siesta we were onto our regular afternoon. Comida, el gimnasio and some tranquilo time...a rough afternoon for me. Bex y Max cooked up the pollo, ate their comida and headed out.

All caught up...onto a ton of fotos....no two igual pero perhaps mismo.

Max knew we were going for a prowl and would have a tour post-cena and was a-ok with that...until we started down the stairs and he held a short sit down protest.

But with the lure of Cheerios y pasas, we were off.

Max looking up at the cocos.

Hey Max, muy peligro...make sure one does not fall on you. And with that, he was outta there!!

Into the security of the jungla.

We are used to this kind of behavior from Max as yesterday we saw him on his bici, hugging a palma, close his ojos and then pretend to be asleep. Here, he hugs a plant.

Roman chariot...or Mexican triciclo?

Max wants to stand in the triciclo....

Ok, here come a bunch of fotos...Max and his bolsita de limons. I think I uploaded so many because I just enjoyed how Max seemed contento just having a simple bag of limes.

Turning away was his cue for me to stop taking fotos and for us to move on!!

Yamaha pit stop.

In Oxxo, checking out the latest issue of H.

Scuba anyone?

Camera shooting away...Poppa ready to jump in. Naaaaah, it was not needed as Max is a pro!!

Max?

All good!!

Helping his Poppa out. Now you see the gafas.

Now you don't.

On the swimming theme, have you ever heard about THIS?

Ok, time to get this place ready for la cena. I will finish this off esta noche.

Hasta pronto!!

Buenos noches!! Home from another great bici ride and round one of bed time is under way. Anoche, Bex started something new...meditation musica on the iPad and it seemed to keep Max tranquilo. It still took me 45 minutos to get him to fall asleep on his own in the cuna, but we have not given up trying yet!!

Bex says they had an awesome time at the playa. Lots of swimming but more importantly, max met some new amigos and had fun playing with them. It is good that he knows some español as many niños know no ingles and Max is even smart enough to know when to use his español vs ingles.

You have to drive to playa Entrega and knock on wood, the camioneta seems to be running fine since we had the engine flush etc. The bigger test comes on sábado when we take it to playa Mojon. We are going to eat our comida there, explore what is left of the playa and then head off to the alberca at Roman's and while the familia has a swim,  Bubba y Roman will have a few chelas. Score.

Quesadillas were a success and Max ate all of his. We had a quick FT con Oma y Opa and then were out the door for 30 minutos of bici riding.

And you are all caught up.

Mañana? Soriana viernes and then onto the rest of our día. Have a great Friday y hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
