And that tells you what kind of weather we encountered before heading out for pour morning prowl. Note the Mexico playera under the capa...listo for the partido!!

But...a rainy morning is a great time to stop in at Los Portales and have some pancakes y tocino!!

Buenos tardes. With the lil'man fast asleep, probably dreaming about his bici, it is time to jot down a few notes.

A wacky bed time last night....argh. After 30 minutos con madre, Max and Poppa hung out for 10 minutos before he was plopped into his cuna. And then over the next 35 minutos he tried to fall asleep...with no success. So into my arms, 2 minutos of rocking and he was plopped back into his cuna...lights out.

Argh....but he is just a lil'guy.

A pretty good noche with only 2 wake ups, including one with some talking in his sleep...it seems to run in the familia!!

Up for good at 555am and after leche, it was time for videos on the iPad. Already 630am and I have set the iPad alarm for 710am...a great little 40 minuto snooze for Poppa...except Max turned off the alarma when it went off and forgot to wake his Poppa. Oh Max.

So after an one hour snooze, oh Poppa, time to get the Palacio set up (window bars put back in after last night's rain) and then onto the tranquilo time and desayunos. No cereal today...we will eat our grains in the hotcake form!! Score!!

Quite wet when we started the prowl, but it tapered off during hotcake time and after we said hola hola to el Gato, Polly, we didn't need Max's capa or the paraguas. Getting warm y humido...yikes.

UPDATE....all quiet on the calles in Huatulco as the Dutch have tied it 1-1 in the 88th minute.

Post prowl it was onto the leche, libros y siesta...and that is el día so far. So onto the fotos we go.

Too wet for the camera today, but here are the fotos from ayer at playa Mojon.

Lush y verde.

A few Max fotos taken on the crappy Sony DSC W730.

Quite a bit of sand at this end of the playa.

A little rocky over here...and what up with all the turkey buzzards?

One of our water wells...1.5 rings exposed.

And on May 18 it was 2.25 rings exposed. Lots of sand has washed ashore.

Keeping their ojos on their comida. The last time we saw them buzzards, there was a large sea turtle that had washed ashore. Peee-u.

Ayer, it was just a small fish. Not sure if that would be called a chico pescado o pescadito. Hmmmm?

At Roman's, the boys settled in for some chelas.

Max tambien.

This 1/2 size Olímpico alberca is nice. It has a looooong story behind its creation and I am not 100% sure about it's business plan.

Having won the race, Max is about to climb the #1 pedestal.

What? Bonus fotos from the crappy Sony DSC W730 camera? It actually takes ok fotos on bright days...as long as the subject does not move.

A tranquilo afternoon at playa Santa Cruz.

Max LOVES this orange truck and it is a playa favorite of his.

And he loves jumping too.

Selfie.

Back home, Max shows off his new tiburón necklace.

Misc...and so there I was last night, sitting on the banco watching segments of the PVR'd race. Due to the storm, we had lost the signale a few times, and the race jumped from lap 20 to 25, I watched a few more laps and then it jumped to lap 50.

And then the PVR re-booted itself. No problem I says to myself...until it comes back on EXACTLY at the moment that shows the race live...and who won it. Are you kidding me? Oh well...congrats to Brad K and I will watch the rest of the race this afternoon, with a little less excitement.

Sad times for all of Mexico as they have lost to the Dutch in extra time. Thank goodness for the Mexicanos that beer here is soooo cheap.

Ok, Max is awake and baking muffins with madre and I am going to watch the race.

I will finish this off esta noche.

Hasta pronto.

Buenos tardes!! A tranquilo afternoon here in Huatulco. Post muffins, the familia ate their comida and then were off to playa Chahue and returned to the CP at 445pm...off for a dip in the alberca.

I watched the Nascar race...big sorpresa who won...then the end of the movie Bullitt (now a days, who finds the time to watch a complete movie in one sitting?), and then the end of a Indy car race. Busy afternoon.

I managed to get the casa cleaned and the pollo muslo in the horno and then we had a delicious 530pm cena.

Some dessert, a quick FT con Opa and then off for a friggin warm bici tour with the familia. How warm?

Not hating (ok maybe a little), just stating....

Only, yes only, 28,0 grados...no viento...79% humido...feeling like 40,0. Hot hot hot.

Home for tina time and as I type, leche y libros is happening. Hoping for a better bed time than last night...buen suerte.

You are all caught up. Felicidades to Holland...lots of sad looking Mexicanos out there tonight.

Hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
