Busted climbing without waiting for his Poppa...oh Max!!
Buenos tardes!! Currently 430pm and as the familia is out for a prowl, I am hearing roars and groans from around centro as the score in the Mexico vs Croatia is still 0-0 in the 71st minuto....and is now 1-0 Mexico in the 73rd.
And how hot is it?
Oh yeah...32,0 feeling like a balmy 45,0. Wowzers...at least there is a breeze now.
As for the día...a successful noche for Bex y Max, but it was so friggin hot last night that Max woke up in a sweat. But after the a/c went back on, he was asleep and stayed that way until almost 6am. Score!!
I was blessed with a sleep in and took over at 7am, ready for the usual AM rutinas. Tranquilo time, desayunos and then off for the hot bici tour. A good tour and then the 2 very hot and sweaty boys came home for leche, libros y siesta time.
Update...and all of a sudden it is 2-0 Mexico.
Slightly less then a 90 minutos siesta and Max bolted straight up...he was done sleeping. Onto his madre for the afternoon and after their comida, they headed to the CP alberca for a swim and have now headed out.
Post siesta Bubba grabbed a PB sandwich and then headed out the door, off to el gimnasio. A good work out and then home to join the familia for a swim. I headed upstairs, had some tranquilo time, clean up time and ta da...update the blog time.
Update...3-1 final score. Felicidades!!
So, you are caught up...onto the fotos.
Without any help from his Poppa, Max has discovered the skill of spice container tower building.
It was going to be another hot prowl. How hot?
Oh, 28,0 grados feeling like 39,0...at 10am...with NO viento.
Pre-tour poses.
Having forgotten mi mochilla, I leave Max in the capable presence of Marciano.
Pointing to different parts on the carretilla, Max was asking Marciano "what this?". I explained that Max was asking "¿que es?" pero en ingles. Ahhhhhh.
Back to exploring "living things".
Ok, this next foto could be one of many things. A Mexican "Club"also known as a steering wheel lock? Power steering assist? Funky cinturon, seat belt? Hands free device so you can talk on your cell phone? Or maybe it is to keep the door closed while driving?
Max wants to stand on the roller, Max stands on the roller.
That is my Poppa.
Adios mis amigos.
We drew a crowd, including one abuela who was thinking out loud that I was not being a good padre. Lighten up lady...ja ja ja.
A hot day so we stopped into the bus station to grab some sombra. Max also needed to grab some pesos. ¿Por que?
Hello!! A phone call to his Oma!!
Ohhhhh....
maaaaaa.
A broken down autobus turismo, blocking a lane on the busy calle?
Blocking a lane, yes. Broken down, no. Modelorama, yes.
As I was headed to el gimnasio, I noticed the maderia, wood shop, was set up for the partido.
And as it was approaching 3pm as I headed home, Bulmaro had closed up for the día.
As had the Telmex trabajadores.
If our internet is slow during the futbol game, this might be why.
Hasta pronto!!
Buenos noches!! Round 1 is almost over...time to get psyched up for my turn!!
The familia came back from their prowl, a little worse for wear. I guess Max had a little melt down, something that has become a bit more common. He can become very emotional about "nothing", but it is obviously "something" to him.
Today? Bex could not join him on the trampolina in the mall because there were small niños on it as well. She tells this to Max and suggests he goes and pays with the niños and...meltdown.
Then there was the dialogue about not eating any dinner, especially the cerdo, and not feeling well. I brought a plate to him, told him what was on it, including the cerdo, told him he did not have to eat it, and 30 minutos later it was all gone and he was eating more of my 2nd portion of chuleta de cerdo.
Of course he was.
Clean up, a bici ride, tina time and then onto master plan #2367-Z on trying to get Max to fall asleep quicker. If it works, I will share the deets with you...I am not going to jinx it!!
Mañana...Che martes and the rest of our usual Tuesday.
Welcome home Oma y Opa!!
Hasta mañana.
Marco, Bexico y Max
