Buenos noches!! That was Max taking a sit during our 2nd AM prowl.
Very happy to report that we had a
super día!! What a difference a great sleep and siesta make…for Max y the
whole familia!!
Padre had night duty and after 10pm, the
lil’man stirred once at 130am and that was a perfect time to change his panale.
By the time I had done that, he was lights out on the bed!!
And we slept from 130am until 6am and
for us, that is a huge success!!
Usual rutina for an early morning, a
prowl, desayunos and then another prowl. Home right before 11am and a good 2
hour siesta!!
Madre took over at 1pm and the familia
had a fun afternoon, sticking to playa Santa Cruz after lunch.
I think if we tallied them up, Max has
blown over 500 besitos today and scored a few abrazos as well. I guess at the
playa, Max went up to a niño and was about to give him a hug, when the niños
parents looked concerned about what was going on.
Bex told them Max likes to give hugs
and once they saw Max give their hijo a hug, the parents melted and thanked Bex
y Max for giving the hug!!
While the familia was out, I was at el
gimnasio giving Galdino the gears about walking to the gym in 41,0 grado heat,
only to find it closed. I did it in a joking manner…the dude is juiced…and
huge.
After the gym, a quick stroll to the
casa of a compañero, so I could wish him Feliz Cumpleaños. Last year on this
date, he invited me to join him for a beer and it turned into a birthday dinner
with his familia y amigos. And of course, before going, I had no idea it was
his birthday.
So he was pleasantly surprised when I
rang his door bell and wished him a good birthday.
Then it was home for some sol time and
then it was time to get ready for la cena y the PM rutina.
Happy to say that it wall went well and
after last night’s near nuclear mishap!! Good dinner, easy tina time, a FT con
Oma y Opa and at 730pm, Bex is on round #1 with the lil’man.
Fotos.
Oh, someone is happy to be out on a prowl!!
Oh, someone is happy to be out on a prowl!!
Weeding?
Ahhh padre...not weeding...looking for my contact.
Off to the camioneta verde.
Max's eagle eyes have spotted the bird poo.
Now a days, less smelling of the flores, and more picking of the flores.
Don't be fooled by this foto.
Now THIS is more like our Max...dipping his hair into the pool.
Ah, ah.
What do you have there Max?
Just like Max, Hecho En Mexico!! He recognizes the eagle from my tattoo.
And on the other side of the fence? Camioneta verde!!
These next fotos personify our lil'man. Just strolling along and stopping to say hola to a niño he has never met before.
And then scoping out the niños hermana. Oh Max.
Max waved adios when they left and the sister gave her brother heck for not waving adios at Max!!
Hambre?
Max has a few favorite marcas, brands. Coca Cola y Sabritas are two of them and he makes sure to point out ANY time he sees their logos.
Hmmmm....25% descuento?
At the escuela, you see all these padres arrive to hand food and beverages to their niños.
With school starting at 7am, I guess maybe they do not eat desayunos before they go? We saw a ton of tortillas, tlayudas, pollo and pop.
Mañana? Nothing planned…welcome to our
world!!
Hasta mañana.
Marco, Bexico y Max
