Hola hola!!

Yes, it is Cinqo de Mayo, but that is really a holiday celebrated more in the USA then in Mexico. Here it is the anniversary of The Battle of Puebla, and click HERE to read more about the important date in Mexican history.

A lot of peeps are mistaken in thinking today is Independence Day, which is actually on September 16.

Anywho...currently 720pm and while I am watching my recorded race, that was delayed for over 3 hours, I can hear Bex y Max horsing around in the recamara…Max is not quite yet ready for leche y bed time even though he is exhausted!!

Usual domingo for us, but with two morning prowls due to a waaaay too early wake up.

Max slept in the cuna until 515am, but then bolted straight up, wide awake, and wanted out.

I gave him some leche and a quick rock, and we managed to slumber until 615am and then he told me he had been slumbering long enough and that it was time to get outside for a prowl. Doph.

But we had two great prowls with a big desayunos in between the two.

And after a nice siesta, I had a race to watch (or part of it at least), while the familia had their comida and then it was off to playa Santa Cruz.

And next thing you know, it is time to cook up the loaf and set us up for the PM rutina.

Max y madre hit up the mall and the trampoline and the n came home at just the right time to eat some meatloaf and yummy mash spuds!!

Good tina time and The Whisperer only needed to sing 5 verses of The Island and Max was ready for his cuna. One more verse and lights out…score!!

And you are caught up.

Fotos.

The chase, search, chase and search series of fotos.

After getting out of the jungle, it was off to the camioneta verde.

Hmmm...V, I, A, G, R....

Naaaah, it was an empty bottle of echinacea that we were taking to Simi so we could stock up.

And at Simi, they had the speaker out front and they were playing some good dance tunes...as you can tell by the moves Max makes.

Our little man shaking his booty!!

And then curiosity takes over.

And then back on the prowl sin gorra. Oh Max!!

Curious but we were out of pesos!!

Uhhhh....maybe I shouldn't have woken up at 515am...I am pooped!! Padre...leche y siesta time!!

Misc

Good news on the Max rash watch. It seems to have almost completely disappeared and based on what Max’s abuela RJ had to say, and after some internet browsing, it looks like Max had a reaction to the medicina that he had been prescribed for his throat y ear infection.

Muy importante that he does not take that type of meds again, and we will have to ensure we let our doctor’s know about the reaction.

Mañana? It will de one of two plans.

If Max sleeps in past 6am, at 9am we will take him to the estancia infantile, day care, for an hour or so, just so he can hang out and push, oops, play with otro niños.

We will hang in the background and also chat up the español only talking maestras, so they understand what we expect and so they understand what words max does understand en español.

If Max is up early, I will have the usual AM rutina with him, but we will make our way over to the hospital to see if Max’s vacuna will be available for martes o miercoles.

Claro?

Have a great lunes.

Marco, Bexico y Max
