Buenos noches!!
It is a late one…currently 8pm and we
just finished pre-bedtime con Max and madre is working on round 1 of bedtime.
Por que?
Max had a fever last night, and it
probably explains why he, y madre, had the worst sleep they have had in a lonnnng
time.
I did not know he had a fever when I
took over at 645am, and based on our two prowls y desayunos, I would never have
guessed.
But come siesta time, Bex and I chatted
it up and yup, he was running hot to the touch and 38,0 plus grados on the thermo.
He had a good siesta and the afternoon
went well for the two of them…hola to finally getting back to the playa. We
figure a dip in the oceano probably kept his fever under control, but the
moment he got home, oh oh.
They strolled in around 5pm and Max was
one unhappy niño. That and he lost his energy in front of our eyes. He actually
lay still in my arms…muy raro.
We were going to wait and see how he
was doing, and then go see el doctora mañana, but seeing this, we gave her a
call.
Doph…out of town but she said to give
him some niño Tylenol and see how that works. If it persists, she was away all
weekend, but we always have Doctor Carillo.
We slipped him a dose and he lay in
madre’s arms and was pretty much asleep.
Now, it is 6pm’ish and we are thinking
he will fall asleep for the noche, time for la cena.
Bex went out to get hers and I was in
charge of getting the lil’man into his cuna. I did and gave him a light blanket
and started singing our song. He closed his eyes and then started laughing.
He kicked off his blankets and was
laughing even more, so I asked him if he was hambre, hungry. He rubbed his
belly and off we went…tiempo para la cena!!
We started dinner, just later then
normal and Max ate for two…one hambre lil’man. Good dinner, managed a FT con
Oma y Opa during tina time, and then off to bed and the lil’man is showing no
signs of a fever or of being ill. Wacky…but he is such a different niño when
ill, so we are thrilled he is currently well!!
Fotos.
Not the best clarity, I need to work on some lighting and get a new lense...doph!! But we are trying to share some examples of Max, his energy, and his expression, when cleaning his highchair table top.
And a quick pit stop.
And back at it.
Pit stop.
Round #3.
And the show comes to a quick close...time for a prowl!!
The prowl outfit and Max deciding if this curb is too high to launch himself off.
I got the idea he was getting ready for a running start...oh Max.
But he wised up and headed to the ramp. Here he does what he is now doing a lot of, wiping cars as he walks by.
The new zapatos!!
Pretty styling eh?
Avion!!
We headed back to the condo to get a new battery for the camera and Max spotted some peeps from the 2nd floor. They were on the landing with their niño and here Max is acknowledging the niño.
At the panificadora, bakery, Max normally bombs in and says hola. Today he hesitated.
He finally went in and I saw why he hesitated. His amiga was not behind the counter and the baker was the only one working.
Hmmmm...not too deep.
Time to test the new zapatos!!
Whoa....
Hello hello hello.
Hombre con mesa.
Ventilador pit stop.
Ok, here are some of Max's amigas. Max saw them playing and dancing so he went over to say hola.
And of course his hola is an abrazo.
And after any good abarzo, time to celebrate.
Hey Max, way to impress the niñas!!
But now, it is time to hold hands and dance.
Ok, I will show you how it is done.
Up.
Down.
Get ready.
And up again.
See, they get it!!
The dance lesson ended when the tigres y mono drove by.
What a wacky assortment of items for sale.
Our amigos had their car wash on calle Carrizal shut down due to no building permits. But here they have popped up in the waaaay less busy industrial section of Huatulco.
Did they have permits this time? Odds are nope. Doph.
Mañana? Hola to rib eye sábado and it
being the first of the month…hola to the weather stats from mayo!!
Buen fin de semana and don’t forget the
race is on domingo!!
