We are going to add this next tip to the book we will write about raising a níno in Mexico. To help them fall asleep easier after tina time, ensure they have spent at least 2 hours in a variety of albercas, splashing away as much energia as possible!!

It worked for us and today wasn’t the first time. Today Max had swims in both pools at playa Chahue and a pre-cena splash in the CP alberca. The lil’pescado loves the agua and it works for us, as at 740pm he was asleep in his cuna with no rocking needed. And a score for padre? Madre the co-Whisperer closed the show with some singing!!

Bex has headed out to grab some verdura y fruta, max is asleep and I will type out a quick update while waiting for the News.

When madre comes home, it will be off to the oficina as she now has one confirmed client, the one that needs 3 peliculas. Time to get back to work!!

Her other client (a repeat client) has gotten approval from his client for the characters Bex designed and now needs a fixed price quote for the contract, so Bex will need to do some calculations, making sure she does not under project the amount of hours it will take her.

So, good news on the work front…no more tortillas para la cena!! Kidding!!

How was our day? Pretty normal with Max getting a good sleep, but still up at 4am for 45 minutes. Doph. But he fell back asleep until 7am and that is good news for us. Now if we could figure out this 4am issue, we would be gold!!

The boys AM rutina was going well until it was time for desayunos and Max was not into breakfast today. The huevos ended up on the piso, my fault for not keeping an eye on the lil’guy…but he LOVES huevos and I did not expect him to toss them.

The toast with cream cheese? Into the boca and then back out onto his plato. And how was he when I brushed his dientes? Get me outta here was the call to action. And once out of the silla was he tranquilo? Oh no…it was get me outta the condo padre!!

But our walk was great and it was a nice and long one. Cooler temps made it nice and kept me cool as I kept up with Max as he chased a lil’niña around the kiosko.

We headed home around 10am and we were asleep by about 1030am. And what time did we wake up from la la land? Can you say 1pm? Yup…it was another good siesta and that gets Max back on a good schedule and keeps him grounded for the day.

Madre was waiting for us when we woke up and took over, getting the lil’hombre his comida and then off to the playa they went.

I headed to el gimnasio and on the way home, had the pila in my watch replaced. The repair hombre spent some time trying to reset the time etc, but it was all in ingles and he asked me if I knew how the watch worked and $50 pesos later, all was good.

Hooked up with the familia who had returned from the playa and were now headed to the alberca.

A good dip and then time for la cena and the PM rutina. All went well and throw in a FT con Opa and you are all caught up.

Fotos for the day.

Max jumping for joy because we are headed for our walk.

Off to drop our botella into the recycling.

On the way home from the kiosko, a pit stop in to SCA to grab some more mil isla.

Not sure why, but our hijo LOVES botellas of mil isla.

And on the way to el gimnasio, I came across some peeps and their camioneta, with a bunch of coat racks for sale.

Who knew there was such a need here in  Huatulco?

Oh Lalo. That's all I can say.

Look at these 2 characters headed to the pool!!

Saying "nose nose" gets you this!!

Mañana? We need to pop into the hospital and confirm whether or not Max’s vacuna is available. And we also have Mojon on the schedule with our departure time based on what time Max wakes up.

Have a great martes and don’t forget to wish Opa a Feliz Cumpleaños!!

Hasta mañana.

Marco, Bexico y Max
