Buenos noches!!
A fun day here in Huatulco
with the best part of my day being my pre-cena walk con Max.
Lots of peeps saying hola,
but nothing new with that. What was fun was the 10 minutes of dancing Max did
at a money-loan tienda, all the while being watched by the peeps that run the
store, and by peeps walking by.
And from across the calle
you would hear people calling out Max’s name and cheering him on. Hilarious. No
vacunas yet, but this small town provides other things for our hijo.
Usual day for the familia,
but due to madre’s hard work at 5am’ish, we have had Max sleep in until 7am…tow
days in a row!! Score. What a difference starting things at 7am vs 545am. Ya
ya, I have jinxed it. I know. Ja ja ja
Earthquakes? Had one
around 230pm’ish. Nice jolt while I was at el gimnasio and after looking it
upon the net, I discovered it was a 4.9 quake, centered in Guatemala, right on
the Pacific coast border with the state of Oaxaca.
So other then the quake
and grabbing another fresh piña, a tranquilo día.
But la cena was a treat!!
We scored on some pechuga de pollo that was filleted and using some previous
scores from Che, we made chicken reggianno, with red pepper aioli and pesto
sauce to boot.
I made the aioli (a work
in progress), Bex prepped the pollo and then I cooked it all up. Oh so good!!
Kicked the pants off anoche’s fish and chips!!
Fotos.
Here Max is watching a knife sharpener at work.
Check out this expression.
Max saw the sprinklers at CP, heard the sound they made, liked the beat...and started jigging!!
And then he saw his madre and knew leche was waiting for him!!
Many businesses here have these VERY low hanging awnings and I have walked into more then one of them.
But for the first time EVER, I see a warning sign has been posted. Cuidado...care and/or attention.
Fin de semana plans? Looks
like mañana is football sábado with the games at 330pm and 7pm Huatulco time.
Domingo I will PVR the Seahawks game as it is a noon start and we plan on being
at Mojon.
New party trick for Max?
With the Superbowl coming up soon, we are working with Max on getting him to
raise both his arms in the air when we say touchdown. We are making great
progress!!
Have a great weekend.
Marco, Bexico y Max
