Buenos noches!!
What a difference a day
makes!!!
Ayer, the lil’guy wanted
nothing to do with his desayunos. Hoy? The niño ate for two!!
Lomo cerdo, strawberries,
raspberries, peach, apple cube with fibre cereal, scrambled egg…and he ate
almost all that was on his plato!!
But then as I scraped off
his plato into the garbage, I said to myself…”what does Max think about this?”.
He know he should not
touch the basura and he waves his hand in front of his face to signify sucio,
basura and stinky.
But he then sees me put
his breakfast into the garbage. Does he think he is eating garbage? Or food
that he should not be touching because what he does not eat is going into the
basura? Hmmmmm?
As for the start of the
día? Early as usual and Max and I had the AM rutina and instead of a walk…hola
to Che.
Just some odds and ends…a
few platos to replace the ones that Max has broken due to his padre allowing
him to hold them. Doph padre!!
And when we came home,
hola to some leche and siesta #1. Normally I pop in 15 minutes after I hand Max
over to madre and then take over and get the lil’guy to sleep. Today? I still
popped in after 15 minutes, but he had been asleep for 10!! Huh?
I guess he was so tired,
he fell asleep on the bottle. We transferred the precious cargo and Max and I
had a great 2 hour siesta!!
Madre took over and I
prepped for el gimnasio and at the gym, I had the best workout in weeks!! Bubba
is on the mend and will hit the stacks hard in the next few weeks!!
Better cut out the helado
and cherry pie filling….oh Bubba!!
Joined by the familia on
the walk and they then went on the hunt for the best dentista in Huatulco, and
found him. Madre is set up for later this week…stay tuned.
I strolled the town on the
way home and caught up with Daniel before heading back to the condos.
The second siesta ended as
I came home so after a quick pit stop, Max and I went down to say hola to
everyone at the big CP fiesta and then we had some alberca time con madre….and
a lot of other peeps.
The big fiesta? Condos Pacifico
threw a luncheon for all the trabajadores, the workers, and their familias. So
we said hola to a ton of peeps before hitting the pool.
Some fun pool time, then I
prepped la cena and while madre set us up for the PM rutina, Max and I prowled
the centro before coming home for pollo muslo con arroz.
We are getting quite
regular with a tina time FT con Oma y Opa and after that, it was lights out
within 35 minutes…phew!!
Currently 935pm and all is
tranquilo. Bex has lots of time to work on her personal work as the client work
is slow post holidays. That is just how it is and I am sure in a week or two
you will be reading about all the different projects she has on the go.
Here are today’s fotos.
Day after Día de los Reyes and the tamarindos are figuring out how to pay for all their niños reglaos!!
Someone is getting a new palapa...exciting thoughts that this could be our roof someday soon!!
The local arboriculturist has been at it again...doph.
More evidence that it is the day after Día de los Reyes.
I gave Silverio our Pentax and he took the following fotos at the fiesta.
Left to right...Silverio, Hector, Marciano, Marcos and his esposa.
Silverio y familia.
His one year old hija. When Max saw her, he ran over and gave her a big hug.
It was good to see the CP team and familias in the pool...first time maybe ever. Doph.
Silverio's hijos.
Mañana? Nothing planned
yet. But we do have a busy week with the dentista and attempt #3 at Max’s vacunas…but
we will fit in a few Mojon days for sure. And then of course, there is NFL fin
de semana!!
Mojon plans? Roman should
hear back from the hombre in the next day or two…stay tuned.
Have a great martes.
Marco, Bexico y Max
